@axelroach when my obt escaped i looked everywhere in the house and couldnt find and was going crazy because i had a yorkie :( after 2 days I found it because it webbed right where i lost in - behind the bookshelf i kept and it had evenng caught an escaped cricket! just sayin look in the room where you lost it and the closest possible hiding spots and tape up the bottoms of your room doors so youll know it cant escape room to room

@UberAwkward Too bit of an enclosure for this spider, and it wouldn't have found it's food very well. Terrestrial species, and those that build web burrows/nests need a smaller space in order to ensure that they find their food. More active species, and arboreals do better in larger set ups.

@S0XF0X No, my tarantulas (all terrestrials) are in largeish enclosures and they find their food just fine, it's just a case of dropping it near enough for them to notice it. Unless you haven't noticed, tarantulas come from the /wild/ which is MUCH bigger than any tank a T owner can provide for their Ts, and they do just fine.. or tarantulas wouldn't exist.

As for anyone thinking about leaving a nasty comment, P. murinus is a semi-burrowing species (either in a massive web or in the ground), and don't like a lot of room. One of the biggest mistakes of tarantula owners is keeping their pet in too big of an enclosure. The small enclosure this OBT is in is probably deeper than it looks, and the limited air keeps the humidity high.
