more than nice video! great music too btw. Can I just ask one question? Is the piece at 2:52 turned as green wood? How else can you get this not straight edge at the top? thx. And btw, my german is not so great but if you ever give a workshop on turning wood let me know. I love youre work!!!
No, at this work it was dry wood. But not with each of this work. I also use much green wood for these works.
I also have a workshop and I also sell a lot. Also in the USA (!) and after New Zealand.
My motto: From the wood up to the ready product. (from forset to final form) I have a small wood. I have a small sawmill. And I have a small nice workshop and a homepage and a small online shop. My homepage: weber-pelchenhofen.de
Weber is the name of the farm and the villagename is Pelchenhofen. The nearest town is called Neumarkt and is located between Nuremberg and Regensburg.
Here in Bavaria we speak Thanks to Google & Co., English, Latvian and many other languages. But good woodturning to the least.
Have a nice greeting for yet ...? Where are you from?
Thank you for sharing . I like the video/still photo presentation . Not much of a learning video , but done very well to give an overview of turning bowls .

The black lines are baked with a thin wire, while playing a disc. (fire lanes).
Sorry for the late reply.
