to get out of the vault you have to get into the overseers room and go up to the computer/tv lookin thing on the wall and click open vault and go down the staircase that appears and open the doors and just keep walking untill you get to the last door

you have to go to the town Megaton. Its south of Springville. Follow that line on the compass right under the health bar. That compass comes in handy!

Thats because Oblivion is also made by Bethesda.

Fallout 1 was 1 and 2 were both made by a company called Blackisle and Fallout was then a stragergy turn based game. Fallout 3 was supposed to be released in 2003 but due to finincial problems the game was abandoned by Blackisle and was sold to Bethesda later on.

I know this because I got Fallout 2 the day it was out. I even have the version of Fallout 3 when it was still being developed by Blackisle.
