I think she used to lip synch a lot more in the past (say 5 years ago). She get a lot of grief for that so she reverted to singing live. And as a result it doesn't sound so good. But its a good thing she's getting the practice

That's how she sings it live. She did almost every performance. If you listen to all the performaces of this song, some times it even rougher or she just screams it. I think she only say it like the record once and that was at BET Blueprint.
