I want to shuffle because... I like it... and I lvoe hardstyle music... I want to be able to have something fun to do when I'm bored and listening to music. Shuffling imo is awesome... and I wish hardstyle music would get bigger then it is now, a lot of people don't know about the dancing scene or hardstyle music... The thing you kiddies don't get is, within youth movements there will be no new thing cos the changes coming are epic. It's the end of an age. Youth culture is over as a progressive cultural force. I'm 37 now we invented the shuffle around 1990 at clubs like CheckpointCharlie Pure &parties like ReinDance, that's 20 years kids 20 years, 2 bad yawl weren't there.

@ biz firstly it takes weeks to months you gotta start slow and learn the basics if your shufflin with betters, dont try to do stuff you cant do stick to the stuff you can do, if theyre doing crazy kick n spins let em.. if ur reppin ur on simple moves... it looks better than failing at harder one .. and they shud respect that

Great message, I agree. When I started to do Jumpstyle (perhaps I am out of place here, but whatever :P), everybody talked shit. Over 6 months later, I still do it along with Shuffle and I'm having a blast! It's about having fun!

ive been shuffling for about a year now and i was the only shuffler in my school. Since it grew more and more people attempt to shuffle even tho their not doing it right or not smooth. Sooner or later it will fade and it has cuz of that stupid "jerk" thing.

That was really interesting. To tell the truth, I don't shuffle. I heard about shuffling lees than a year ago from my brother, and later he also told me about some really good shuffle tutorials by someone called BigMilan...you! :D
Mainly I become interested when I saw vids from shuffle gatherings and I was like "wow" because I didn't know people actually form crews and battle each other. So I intended to learn, but NOT to be like everyone else, but simply because the whole scene interested me.
But I still haven't come around to start seriusly practicing it. :D
But when I did come around to watch your vids...well mr Milan, you are a person with a very interesting personality. This video just proves it. I think that currently in Slovenia shuffle is becoming more popular, but I would actually like it better if it stayed more underground and not "do because everyone else is doing it" stuff as you mentioned! Good video, you're right, shuffling ain't the world, but knowing you can dance (even if it is a little) is great. And one question, you said you thought you covered everything considering shuffling, but do you add more styles of dancing in your own dancing or is it pure shuffling?

Well , melb shuffle is dieing as a steeet dance with meet ups and street dancing , but i certainly think that it is still strong at clubs and raves , i dont rly know the estate of the rave scene there in melbourne but here in spain , it is still slowly growing up and overall in europe , such a nice thing that most of the ppl just do it to enjoy it and have fun along with the music and not to show off.

ok i have been shuffling for about 2 years now and wen i started to shuffle no one new what shuffling was then wen i got to high skool shit loads of ppl new wat it was. I jst kept shuffling for the for the Fun of the dance......BUT now days some people take it as impressing then expressing....im not bragging but ppl say shuffle....all the time and shit to me coz they think that im the best in my state. its pre fucked from wat it was to now :S

dont know how i stumbled across this vid but i watched it all, i remembering watching your vids to learn the basics which was over 18months ago. the 1 thing i'll remember about ur vids is how to do RM.i can relate with you in some ways. the last 6months i've slowly lost interest in the shuffle but i've started again just recently. but with regards to what u say at the end.!! thanks heaps.. i saw u at infekted a while back but was scared to say hi haha. check my latest vid

The thing you kiddies don't get is, within youth movements there will be no new thing cos the changes coming are epic. It's the end of an age. Youth culture is over as a progressive cultural force. I'm 37 now we invented the shuffle around 1990 at clubs like CheckpointCharlie Pure &parties like ReinDance, that's 20 years kids 20 years, 2 bad yawl weren't there.

1. totally agree with what you said in your video, i reckon shuffling is lot like a realtionship when you thing about it as in ur other half should be a part of your life NOT your whole life- dont let it consume you.

I don't even know where people in America can go to shuffle. I don't care about going to a club and dong it because I don't know where any clubs are where people dance like that in this country

@ biz firstly it takes weeks to months you gotta start slow and learn the basics if your shufflin with betters, dont try to do stuff you cant do stick to the stuff you can do, if theyre doing crazy kick n spins let em.. if ur reppin ur on simple moves... it looks better than failing at harder one .. and they shud respect that

I agree with this dude 100% I dance shuffle just to have fun and enjoy to another level the music I hear to and I think that has inspired my bros and also started to practice to the point where we don't even care what other people think about it weather it's good or not, and I think shuffle is not loosing popularity I mean it's been around for some years now and stuff like this just not disappear over night.

Its not like its slowing down the popularity,its because shuffle takes time to learn,and only who train hard will be really good,here in brazil its near to perfect,almost everyone now shuffle,and less and less people that dont try hard are stopying,and like everyone that shuffle is a cool person,like a good person,shuffle has a culture now

Great message, I agree. When I started to do Jumpstyle (perhaps I am out of place here, but whatever :P), everybody talked shit. Over 6 months later, I still do it along with Shuffle and I'm having a blast! It's about having fun!

and you will be remembered! even though im out of the rave scene, im still reminded by u when i see someone shuffling, and thats not too often that i go out. but the last time i went out was in calgary canada and this guy from russia was shuffling and everyone was wowed by his moves and when i went to go talk to him im like "hey man nice shuffling" and hes like u know what that is, and im like hell ya! i unfortunately couldnt pick up on this style at all :/

ive been shuffling for about a year now and i was the only shuffler in my school. Since it grew more and more people attempt to shuffle even tho their not doing it right or not smooth. Sooner or later it will fade and it has cuz of that stupid "jerk" thing.

here in sydney atm we have much too many little kids shuffling, as in 12 year olds right, the exact reason you explain is that they only want to do it cos the older ones are and they want to be all popular cos of it.
Ive tried to send that message to them but they still dont understand, any tips on how i can get them to understand what its about?

I love The Melbourne Shuffle just because I love the BEAT of the Had Trance Frying my brain. The MelbShuffle is not popular in my country but I'll dance that style for a long time because a love it. You are great amigo! ^_^

I've seen a few other Shuffle tutorial videos out there but I have to say yours are the most creditable as well as reliable! I never liked dancing until I came across shuffling and immediately I was like I WANNA LEARN THAT and I have, through your videos :)! and I love it! I'll do it around my campus and people are all like "... what?" and i just keep at it! Thanks for the help!

That was really interesting. To tell the truth, I don't shuffle. I heard about shuffling lees than a year ago from my brother, and later he also told me about some really good shuffle tutorials by someone called BigMilan...you! :D
Mainly I become interested when I saw vids from shuffle gatherings and I was like "wow" because I didn't know people actually form crews and battle each other. So I intended to learn, but NOT to be like everyone else, but simply because the whole scene interested me.

I think that currently in Slovenia shuffle is becoming more popular, but I would actually like it better if it stayed more underground and not "do because everyone else is doing it" stuff as you mentioned! I am sure most of people learn how to shuffle from you.
And most of them are grateful.
Nobody is forgetting you - you are the man who taught them how to dance.
At least I won't ever forget you. Without you and your videos I would most likely live a boring life.
I don't tend to go out with other people out. There are tons of shufflers in my city but most of them are kids or just want to impress. That's why I don't go to meetups anymore.
And clubs are very dangerous out here xD

Well , melb shuffle is dieing as a steeet dance with meet ups and street dancing , but i certainly think that it is still strong at clubs and raves , i dont rly know the estate of the rave scene there in melbourne but here in spain , it is still slowly growing up and overall in europe , such a nice thing that most of the ppl just do it to enjoy it and have fun along with the music and not to show off.
