My family adopted my sister from Russia when she was almost 14. This is so true. These children need to know the love and hope that comes through Christ. They need to know people do care about them. It kills me to know that if we hadn't adopted my sister she would probably be dead by now. She is amazing and I love her so much.
I've been to Russia through this organization and met around 200+ orphans that travel to government run summer camps every summer. Don't assume this is not the way it really is. This video is legit and portrays the real life and trials these kids have. I might even live there permanently to help out. I have some pictures of my trip on my account for anyone interested. If you have any questions about this organization or of Russian orphans I will try to help answer them.
It was really heart breaking to see these young children deprived of the basic necessities of life. We can all help end their sufferings by supporting organizations that are working for them like Food for Orphans.
I can't find any words to describe what I feel, watching this video.
Words are not enough, these kids need ation, no talking about what could be done for them.
I wrote somewhere else, if I was strong enough (mentally) I would join to the group that helps them to find peace, love, family everything what's the most important in our life.
I wish them everything the best from the bottom of my heart.
Best regards and a huge hug for all of you out there
Um instead how about spreading the word and encouring people to adopt these children. To certain extent i feel guilty but im glad i never was old enough at one to remember anything about it. I was given up becuaes my mother was 18 and couldnt afford to keep me, though the nurses told my parents she dearly loved me but just couldnt keep me. Religion giving to the older ones kicked out maybe but the younger ones no need
Dang so many of us americans have too many wants and take everything for granted these lil kids barely have needs and everything they get its a priveledge...wish i can help, i'm only 17.
Let me summarize some of the comments so far: "We could care less about children and their lives being wasted...the important thing is that God is not mentioned to anyone, even if it costs them their lives, because we're trying to pretend He doesn't' exist so we can live our own hedonistic lives and not feel guilty."
To these critics...what have you done to give life and hope to orphans?
i agree that they shouldn't push religion on the kids but ya'll don't seem to realize how horrid the conditions are in these orphanages. these children need some sort of hope, and although i myself do not believe in religion, if that's what helps them stay alive and feel love then i'm all for it.
So if imnot Christian I cant adopt these kids..even if I am a good mum and I can afford it ?

The crappy ones kids don't usually have a chance.

I agree with Sliu and Natalia :(
Organization should concentrate on education, NOT RELIGION. This video, as innocent as it seems, kinda annoys me.

Stop pushing religion on orphans!

But I disagree on the part about God :(
Can't people adopt orphans without being forced to convert? >:(
