oh hey, I just realized this is the first hack ive seen you have a partner in! Yoshi, as much as you may hate, it does make it possible for you to go farther than you can go alone! Just a minor nitpicking here: you said the falling skull is supposed to be a spike, that's untrue, they're seperate sprites IIRC.

Well, actually it is supposed to be a spike. It's kind of hard to explain, but the spike is part of the castle spriteset, and the skull is part of the cave spriteset. If you use the falling spike in a cave level, the game uses the skull becauseit doesn't have the spike stored in that level's graphics setting.

Now, one could argue that it's not a good idea to bring a comment like this into a Raocow video, but you know, cucumbers.

This hack definitely seems to be showing it's age, having come from a time before EX GFX, custom music and sprites and with some questionable level design, but for a hack of that age, it's fairly good (considering not even TSRP had a custom overworld), and your commentary seems pretty good.
