Your chair is way too high. Your legs should be leveled with your heals up using double base pedal. Also that causes another issue when chair is too high, I notice you hit your snare with only the tip of your stick. To get a punch and sound out of the snare. Use the whole stick. Other wise that thickness on the snare will never come out.

@adventchildren73 hey i'm clearly not clarkdanger but i am a drummer and it all truly depends on where you live and what style you want to play personally for me an acoustic drumset is better but if you have neighbors who may complain about the loudness of drumming electronic can come in handy the benefits to electronic are volume control but without an amp it is lacking and also doesn't give you the true feel of a solid acous set i would say acoustic but it's about environment

@DillonDrumsYDG Well what I can tell he does is take a couple old busted cymbals and stack them. The cracks and gashes and the stacking adds a really trashy sound, ind of like a china. I've done it before. Not too loud, but can give you a good variety of sounds. Hope this helped a little :)

I would love to see those covers though. I'm sure you would gain a lot more respect from most of these people. Failure In Vanity has some sick songs that are pretty technical. One other just in case you don't like them is The Contortionist. Most other drummers that have been playing for a long time or know their stuff, don't care too much for stick tricks as much as the complexity of the rhythm and emotion into it. Like I said it comes across as more of a showman thing as opposed to a passion, which is why a lot of people "hate on you" as some would dub it. Anyways, that's my educated critique on you,
