It's too bad they couldn't win the Superbowl, I really wanted them to. I'm not a Cardinals fan at all but Kurt was my favorite player growing up, and a Superbowl win would've been a great way to end his career.
Our God is real. That's why AIDS, HIV, CANCER all disappear when we call on Jesus who is living, and is King. So if you don't believe in God or maybe are just against Him, that's one thing, but you cannot deny the power of God. I had a kidney that was about to blow and God cured it. All honor goes toward our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ...
@SrPastorNHF, you wrote " Our God is real. That's why AIDS, HIV, CANCER all disappear when we call on Jesus who is living, and is King" Question: How come God doesnt seem to give a rat's ass when an amputee loses a limb and prays to Jesus or whomever for it to grow back? How come you never hear of one single story of a limb growing back after an amputee prayed to Jesus for it to grow back? Does your god really hate amputees?
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... well, a good friend in our circle of ministers had God grow his leg back. However keep in mind, that even if you ask... it's still up to God... and if you ask and if it doesn't heal right away doesn't mean God didn't take care of it, sometimes God may have a person keep an illness for a certain amount of time. At the end of the day, God is much more concerned about our character rather than our comfort. Anyway, God Bless & have a good night...
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... at the end of the day, I already knew you will believe only what you choose to believe... but until you try something for yourself, instead of looking in from the outside, you can only know so much.
@SrPastorNHF Yeah, at the end of the day you'd knew I'd call you on your nonsense. But hey, I've got a open mind. If someone was actually able to pray to grow a limb back, that would be quite a media sensation, wouldn't you think? There must be at least a dozen electronic clips from reputable news sources you'd be able to forward to me reporting on the story of a lifetime.
Of course, if you can't produce even one, that will prove yourself a liar. I await your next post.
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... let's say there were before or after photos... people will say it's still fake, or it's a fake medical document, or it's a scam or its' a conspiracy... and if someone was happy their leg grew back, why would they call the news? So the news station can say "it's those Christians again, and just hang up" Even hypothetically, let's step outside the box "IF there is a God and HE did make us all... then what's the big deal with growing a simple leg back"
@SrPastorNHF And the miracles that God has done for me as for others... that Bible has helped me feed homeless people I don't even know, love people in their unlovable moments, and turn the cheek when contested upon, and love on people who absolutely hate me... I have never ever seen someone, other than a person of God, turn humble when attacked physically or verbally, and that to me speaks the loudest... although my initial reaction is to get somewhat military on someone, I instead show love.
@Haroldbeavis1969 And, hypothetically speaking again, IF a so-called God made us all... do you really think he'd say... "Man, this guy keeps praying to me to grow back his leg and although I made the galaxy, earth and billions upon billions of people... gee whiz... I'm just having a hard time growing this guys leg back... [pause] ... hey Moses... apparently, i'm having a hard time here... can you help me out dude!?" ...
@SrPastorNHF LOL!!!! See, the whole thing speaks to "whether your god exists." See, if a religiously devout amputee was never able to pray for a limb to grow back, there's a good chance he's praying to a non-existent god since, as you say, a god that created the galaxy and all those good things should at the very least be able to grow a limb
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... when I got healed of my kidney situation, I was happy & relieved, not like wow I should call the news... and us as Christians aren't in the business of showing to the un-believing world that we got healed... to us it's normal... why in God's green earth would I call a news station? I don't even feel the slightest bit to prove to you about any miracles God has done, which it to why i'm only speaking on theory and not the miracle.
@SrPastorNHF God had nothing to do with healing your "kidney situation." That was medical science which, unfortunately, cannot make a limb grow back. Now, why would a Christian call a news station to report that God performed the miracle of growing a limb back? Because Christians are all about trying to get non-believers like me to believe. And what better way to do that than to report the unequivocal miracle of a limb growing back?
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... but that wouldn't be consistent with our doctrine... our doctrine says that only the love of God will bring people to repentance... not miracles... so unless we are acting out of something we don't believe, that's only when we would do that...
@SrPastorNHF It would be bery simple to prove that this happened even without a news station showed up at a prayer meeting. Just give a reporter medical documentation of the amputation and then show the newly grown limb for all to see that it's legit and not a prosthesis. Or, if the limb is legit, let the reporter examine the medical documentation to show that the "patient" really was an amputee to begin with.
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... and that's the thing, why would someone who was crushed that happened to them think they need to call a news station that their leg grew back?? Wouldn't your reaction first be... man, i'm so thankful and so relieved... I'd be more suspicious on a story with news reporters because instead of being crushed about the situation, it looks like they were planning on proving something to someone... not a consistent way or normal human reaction...
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... and I'm more than happy with my relationship with God regardless of what you think. Although I hope you can discover the love of God for yourself... I won't have a hard time sleeping just because you don't believe what I believe... ... and the biggest miracles isn't healing the body... it's what God does to a persons character... He conquered alcoholism in me, great marriage, achieved a solid military & police career, and mostly... made me a better person to be around..
@SrPastorNHF I'm very happy for you that you believe God did all those things for you. Quite frankly, I don't believe God played any part but it's your prerogative to believe anything you want. It is not, however, your right to tell me something happened (i.e. a limb growing back) when it didn't.
And the miracles that God has done for me as for others... that Bible... has helped me feed homeless people I don't even know, love people in their unlovable moments, and turn the cheek when contested upon, and love on people who absolutely hate me... I have never ever seen someone, other than a person of God, turn humble when attacked physically or verbally, and that to me speaks the loudest... although my initial reaction is to get somewhat military on someone, I instead show love...
@SrPastorNHF Again, none of those things rise to the level of proof that newly grown limb would offer. You're fine when you say these things. Reasonable people can disagree.
@Haroldbeavis1969 I know, but I'm not trying to prove it, I just simply told you what I know... it doesn't matter to me whether you believe me brother. I'm merely just responding to your comments.
@Haroldbeavis1969 ...and actually I've seen many people accept God through acts of love... but I haven't seen anyone repent because of a medical report... not one...
@SrPastorNHF With good reason: No one ever got better from praying. They might have thought they did but that's not quite the same thing. Wow, look how far off the beaten path we've gotten. All this because I asked you to document your story about your minister who says God grew his limb back for him.
@Haroldbeavis1969 lol I know. Well one simple prayer took me out of alcoholism... and nothing helped me before that... for my Dad is was gambling, and NOTHING ever stopped him... no matter how hard we tried... I would have tried to scrape my nails until they bled and were torn off... but a simple 45 second prayer seemed to do the trick... end of the day I'm just thankful...
@Haroldbeavis1969 ... and in order for your prayer to be one with God, it has to be 1) respectfully submitting... meaning, you submit to whether He decides yes or no... or the one we all are frustrated by... "Later" ... 2) without haste... a genuine, sincere heart without a challenge or an ultimatum... if prayers haven't worked for you and your family before, I'd suggest try the biblical way of praying...
@Haroldbeavis1969 And the miracles that God has done for me as for others that Bible has helped me feed homeless people I don't even know, love people in their unlovable moments, and turn the cheek when contested upon, and love on people who absolutely hate me... I have never ever seen someone, other than a person of God, turn humble when attacked physically or verbally, and that to me speaks the loudest although my initial reaction is to get somewhat military on someone, I instead show love.
@Haroldbeavis1969 Lastly, let me leave you with this... all I can say is... I one day hope that you yourself would open the bible and just simply see what it says for yourself... If you don't like what it says, then at least you opened it for yourself. Other than that, God Bless you, your family and I wish nothing but good health and wealth for you and your family dude... thanks and feel free to contact me anytime... God Bless you bro...
@SrPastorNHF Sadly you weren't able to forward me any coverage of this amazing news story that would once and for all settle the question as to whether there was a god. But i must apologize. Earlier I said that would make you a liar. Not necessarily. You could also be gullible. I'll leave it up for you to decide which one. Best that I refrain from any more name calling. You seem like a decent sort.
@Haroldbeavis1969... Listen, I'm not upset about name-calling and it's ok... the bible says we should all be forgiving of one another, without condition... you and me both, the bible says, "for all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God" but then it also says forgiveness is free... I'm not better man than you... i'm no better man than anyone out there... I need God's forgiveness as much as anyone... my physical body is tempted by the same things yours and all other men are...

Hmm what a moron. He just claimed that he had nothing to do with the outcome, you might aswell have put a blind midget with no arms as quarterback, Jesus would have done it for him.
You know Kurt really doesn't care if he won or lost the Super Bowl..he said in an interview with Sports Illustrated that he is glad he has been a leader for his team this year. Kurt's and my Savior is ever present in all situations. I can't answer why the Cardinals didn't win the SuperBowl, but I can answer how the Cardinals got that far: through the power of God!
wow...believing god is the reason your team got this far, and thus that your god picks side is just plain ridiculous, and actually makes religious people look bad
I think Warner wears the #13 because he DOESN'T believe in superstition. I think his number selection makes that point.
Thanking God is not preaching. When players score a TD and point up to heaven, it is their way of thanking God for their talent and fortune of all they have.
People who believe in God have their own identity. They just believe their is a higher power, and they aren't afraid to mention it publicly.
I agree they (usually, and not that i've heard of at all) don't tell people they have to warship anyone. is it so bad for them to say who they do? To thank those that they believe have helped guide them? without a doubt whether the existence of God is in question or not, the truth is he was inspired and pressed on by the very thought of God, and again there just isn't anything wrong with that, i don't believe in censorship and even more he's not hurting or being negative towards anyone.
have you guys heard about Kurt's story of how he met his wife and adopted her 2 children, one being severely handicapped? He truly is an amazing person
Yes I have.Kurt is the most underrated QB in the NFL.I hope the cards win and have Kurt to be the first QB in the NFL to win two Super Bowl for two different teams.

If it makes him feel better, cool.
Too bad he can't have his own identity and take credit for his accomplshments.
Much like fratboys and other sorority members,it shows a complete lack of identity and self confidence when you have to give all of your credit to a mythical invisible man.
But hey, they are a peaceful sort for the most part, very similar to downs syndrome victims,so I guess their threat is minimal.........................i guess.
News Flash: Some people actually believe in a higher power than us. Some actually pray to God.
If you don't believe that, and God does nothing for you. Who cares? It isn't all about you.
When Warner said thanks, that's not jamming it down the throats of others. It isn't about others. It was about him and thanking God for all he has given Kurt.
God Bless Kurt Warner for having the believe and courage to stand up for Jesus in this politically correct world.
Sheesh, Kurt Warner is just saying he's giving thanks to God and Jesus for allowing the strength and security to play. It's like asking repentance for sin. Kurt Warner is not saying God created the internet, he's saying God provided the blessings of knowledge & thinking for the internet.
Why are these corporate employees allowed to beak off on their beliefs and have mass pray circles. What's next, some wanker at walmart giving me a speach at the checkout,or a mass indoor praying like a muslim country. If Warner was giving praise to Allah or paganism, this practise would be curtailed!
We will see if Jesus will score some touchdowns on Feb 1st. .. My guess is that Jesus will be kicking the shit out of the Cardinals. Steelers 35-7 (No Contest)
choluslasaucehot- Your comments are disrespectful for every religious person on this planet. Just STFU plz!!! I find it funny that you underestimate the cardinals when they have been proving people wrong this entire post-season. GO CARDINALS!!!!!!
Keep praising the Lord Jesus Kurt Warner! He did bless you! Praise God! You know Jesus died for ALL of our sins and these A-hole's that are slandering you will be spending eternity in torment if they don't repent! You just keep giving the glory to God and you will do just fine! Thanks for being a soldier for Christ! Amen!
His giving thanks to Jesus Christ has nothing to do with beating the Eagles. He is thanking God for his God given gifts that has allowed him to compete in the NFL, without which he would not even be in the position of going to the Super bowl.
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
God cares about you too, xjcdowx. And to let you in on a little secret... he doesn't sleep. If you'd read a Bible once in a while, you wouldn't make yourself appear foolish by making comments like that. Kurt and I both pray for you! Have a great day!
Wow...You do know the bible was written by men, and is used as a form of control, right? I bet Kurt got paid by some right wing religious group to unleash that tirade of jibberish. Everyone knows that America is all about the Benjamins!
God Bless You Kurt!! It makes me happy to see people put God first, even in front of 70,000 people..Maybe he got one person to think about, or remember who Jesus is. I think it's great for kids to see this as well. Praise Jesus!!
Excellent...why is it that the best performing college quarterback of 2008 (Tim Tebow - Champion) and the best performing pro quarterback of 2008 (Kurt Warner - NFC Champion) both sound so similar regarding their comments on the wellspring of their lifeblood ??? Get a load of it libs....on national tv...its the good life. Wonder if this stuff works like this in other parts of the lives of people? HMMMMMMMMM?????????
Did it ever occur to you that there are plenty of liberals who are Christians, and plenty of conservatives who are atheists? And evidently, there are a handful of Christians who are total douchebags like yourself!
Too bad we beat them in the Super Bowl LOL!!!!

his last line shoulda been,"we're going to Disneyland!",cause he definitely lives in a fantasy world.
Oh yeah, only the winning team gets to go.....only one fantasy at a time ,I guess.....must be that "jealous"god stuff...whatever

And I never get sick watching of this video! Thanks, Kurt for being an awesome testimony to so many people :-)
DolphinSweetie 3 years ago 9
wow...believing god is the reason your team got this far, and thus that your god picks side is just plain ridiculous, and actually makes religious people look bad

lol thats how it is in any competitive situation, honestly who cares though.

I've Watched every Super Bowl and NFL championship games. Never said this before. Kurt Warner must win this game.
He is beyond a spectacular human being!
Kurt is what sports is all about ( I have also traveled with the Giants, sat on the bench, when they lost to the Colts in 59,
with YA, the Giff, Shof, Mel, Kyle, Sam, Andy, Joe, both Rosies, Dick lynch and Nolan, Jimmy, and everybody else.)

religion teaches against superstition, buddy.
wtg2989 3 years ago 4
I didn't know you felt that strongly about this..
I think Warner wears the #13 because he DOESN'T believe in superstition. I think his number selection makes that point.
Thanking God is not preaching. When players score a TD and point up to heaven, it is their way of thanking God for their talent and fortune of all they have.
People who believe in God have their own identity. They just believe their is a higher power, and they aren't afraid to mention it publicly.
pickenspolitics 3 years ago 4

Amen brother!!!!
derrike50 3 years ago 2
Sheesh, Kurt Warner is just saying he's giving thanks to God and Jesus for allowing the strength and security to play. It's like asking repentance for sin. Kurt Warner is not saying God created the internet, he's saying God provided the blessings of knowledge & thinking for the internet.

Why are these corporate employees allowed to beak off on their beliefs and have mass pray circles. What's next, some wanker at walmart giving me a speach at the checkout,or a mass indoor praying like a muslim country. If Warner was giving praise to Allah or paganism, this practise would be curtailed!

choluslasaucehot- Your comments are disrespectful for every religious person on this planet.

Amen!
chosenbychristdotcom 3 years ago
His giving thanks to Jesus Christ has nothing to do with beating the Eagles. He is thanking God for his God given gifts that has allowed him to compete in the NFL, without which he would not even be in the position of going to the Super bowl.
Matthew 10:32-34 (Jesus speaking)
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

I'm sure God lost a lot of sleep over whether or not the Arizona Cardinals and Kurt Warner would win the NFC Championship Game. No one cares Kurt.
xjcdowx 3 years ago
God cares about you too, xjcdowx. And to let you in on a little secret... he doesn't sleep. If you'd read a Bible once in a while, you wouldn't make yourself appear foolish by making comments like that. Kurt and I both pray for you! Have a great day!
boogerstylesmp 3 years ago

Auguinas 3 years ago
Being a Christian isn't always the "good life". Look at Hebrews 11 all of those people who dies for the faith.
hescht77 3 years ago
Did it ever occur to you that there are plenty of liberals who are Christians, and plenty of conservatives who are atheists? And evidently, there are a handful of Christians who are total douchebags like yourself!
