  • I really this song and you sync it so well. Is your older video still available in which you sync to Yehai Yehai? (pardon spelling please).

  • Muito

Gostei muito do video. Essa música é uma benção!!!

  • I love chevra!!! I am listening to Yehei Yehei right now lol... I wish all the songs on the radio have these types of lyrics that talk about Hashem. The music these days is sooo bad lately , it's all about bad things. Hopefully it will change soon.

  • that's it we gotta get you over here in Israel in concert! (can you sing it all??)

  • omg you look jewish, i thought you were! what made you like this band even if you dont understand the language? like how did you even hear of chevra?

  • Dude, you are a legend! These are amazing videos. Been watching them all. Think the beard is a nice addition. Keep em coming!

  • Are you even wearing a yarmulke?

  • haha well either way awesome! its really good...i'm jewish and i dont think i could even do as good of a job lol

  • also...r u jewish??lol

  • lol, no I'm not jewish, just a fan of the Chevra!

  • So You're catholic? I always thought you were a nice Jewish boy. BTW do your parents know that you listen to Jewish music ad do you know what you sing or lip sync?

  • well, I'm not catholic either, I was raised christian, but I don't really go to church anymore. So I'm kind of in the zone where I don't really have a label. Anyway, I don't know what the words mean...

  • @mikeray95206

es panecha HaShem avakeish- the face of G-d I seek

shema HaShem koili ekra- G-d hear my voice calling out

vichaneini vaneini- and find favour with me and answer me

(the last phrase im not sure about but i think it means "i seek your presence/audience")

  • May I ask, do you know what the words meen?

  • this is awesome! and by the way...amazing video affect! :D

  • i LoVe ThIs SonG!!!!! <3

  • Lindo demais...!!!!

  • duh, he's lip syncing

  • this is really good!! he should do raninu also by the chevra!!

  • the words mean "your presence the lord i request. Listen G-d to the voice of my calling, have mercy on me and answer. To you my heart says please accept my presence" it's from Psalms

  • I don't understand the lyrics, but i really like it. It sounds so beautiful.

  • this is really nice!!

  • אני אוהבתת את השיר הזההההה

  • well done! it's cool how you split it in two!

  • who is this guy?????!!!

  • I love this guy and song! Does he have more time on his hands by making it or us for watching it?

  • hehe.. you're so cute :)

  • pretty good u must hav good timin to lip sync that good

  • youre hooooooootttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • i take it your a girl?

  • ha ha WOW Mike, still making those Chevra videos... you're like the Chevra's "Obama Girl" if you know what I mean. I think you should actually try to sing the song, you have a good voice for it.

  • BEST VID OF ALL TIME. ITS GREAT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE OTHER SIDE AND JSUT LIKE CHILL. you got allottaa time on your hands buddy!!

keep up the great work, and dont let the haters take you down!!

  • the song is awesome, but the video is kinda of gay .... sorry dude

  • this is a good video and all but why are you all like wow its excellent? its not him singing.. its just a video of him mouthing the words.

  • No it's not him singing! He's lip syncing, with the song es panecha from the cd- the chevra

  • first of all this song is very good, it is obvious that you worked hard to make it but as a hebrew speaker i have to tell you that first it is "Et panecha" not "es".

and one more thing, i couldn't understand most of the words because you said some words too long at the beginning, or too short for exemple you said the word "libi" but you said it like "Liiiiibi" and it was hard to understand, but its a very good job for someone who doesn't speak hebrew!

  • how would you know it's et and not es?

    cuz your father told you?

    his father told him es.

    yemenites say eth.

    are they wrong too?

somewhere down the line the pronunciations haad been altered, but it's probably actually wrong to say anything other than eth, being that ibn janach, a jewish medieval grammarian taught wha parts of the mouth the letters are supposed to be pronounced from.

et has nothing to do with any letter except for a tes, according to him.

  • e/o says it diff. isrealis say et

  • et is what isrealis say and ashcinazim say es

  • i was really responding to the gal above me trying to claim that es isn't real hebrew.

  • dude, ure an idiot. how superficial of you to genralize like that. I know PLENTY of Israelis that say Es, and there are plenty of Ashkenazi Israeli's so what are you saying?

The correct statement would be that is it CUSTOMARY for Sephardim to say et and Ashkenazim to say es. But I know plenty of ppl who do it to their way.

  • Comment removed

  • and I understand completely. On the contrary, don't be so general. I am an Ashkenaz who happens to say et. So?

  • Comment removed

  • But it really shouldn't matter. but ur right, et is modern hebrew while es is something for davening. i cringe when some of my classmates use the es pronunciation when we are learning Tanach and Chumash. It's et then. But at davening its your preference.

    True?

  • no. if you look at the aleph beis, there is a TAF and SAF.

    two different letters.

and if you look in a siddur and a tanach, it uses both.

so technically ashkies say it right ;)

  • et is what isrealis say and ashcinazim say es

  • its not HIM singing its a band called the chevra.. never heard of them? its not this random guys song! lol!

  • i like....

  • thx & best regards from GERMANY! I loved it!

    Best regards, pleimnAir.

  • i love it so

  • Really good! I really like it :)

  • Excelent...

  • this is a beautiful song! and nice job on the video!

    Shavuah Tov!!

  • Whoa. It's been baaaad day. Then I found this video. Although I'm just learning Hebrew and could only pick out a few words, I found myself crying.

Then I scrolled down and saw what the words meant and realized that I had just been praying this earlier.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

  • Sick work dude. Nicely done =]

  • wow,q' cool!

  • Really really liked it.. thanx

  • good work! post more

  • pretty good

  • WENDEL lol nice job :P you actually did another one, im proud. Now to move from the Chevra, you should make a video to the backstreet boys song you sang, that'd be solid.

  • dude, this is great. I can only imagine it must have been very difficult to produce given the language barrier.

Incidentally, does anyone know what the words mean?

  • From Psalm 27: (Es Panecha = Your presence)

    I seek your presence, God.

God, hear my voice when I call.

Be gracious towards me and answer and me.

In God's presence my heart seeks.

    I seek your presence God.
