No. Didn't know that. By the surviving photographs it must have been an idyllic village. It must have been so traumatic for the villagers. And it all happened again in the 1960s where they flooded a valley near Bala. More homes gone, they even cut off villages with flooding the railway line.
So sad to see ... very heavy impact on the heart and mind. Please, post something more up-beat for the Season of Christmas. This was heartrending to watch..., but thank you.
