Well BCLR's looked ok when new but the cars got beat up pretty bad after a fews years in trash service,hopefully these hoppers will hold up better than BCLR's rebuilt boxcars!And Hopefully the transfer stations won't rip these up the way BCLR's were!Time will tell how long the paint job will last!Good video by the way. BTW I miss the RR Bridge's old Foghorn, I used to be able to hear it from my home in Wareham!Great Video!
They did look good new, it's a fact. And these new ones are already dirtied up. But we'll see - MCRR seems very image conscious, so perhaps they'll get washed/touched up over time. Thanks for the comments.

Actually there's one in Virginia that's even spiffier, but this is a big improvement over BCLR haze gray/rust.
