Today I filed a complaint with the California Bar. Steven Feldman waited until I got my balance of 3400.00 paid to tell me I was too much of a pain to help. I am a pain because I wanted some sort of proof that he had contacted my bank which he kept promising (through his employee Chris Johnson) and they simply would not or could not provide it. I am on here trying to keep this from happening to others like me who are desperately searching for help in a time of need.

I called Feldman Law Center. It would cost $2995. After I was notified that I qualified the price changed to $3995. When I confronted the legal assistant he stated that he misquoted me (more than once) and he would take the hit and keep that price ONLY if I paid it ALL upfront. I don't trust them, the legal assistants are the sales persons for the business.

No, it really isn't worth it. Charging large fees just shows how greedy the loan mod people really are. They must be brokers, the same subprime brokers that got people into their tough situation. I would steer clear of these places and their loan mods.

Well, that was a large part of it. I would attribute it more to greed than simply brokers. Who were the geniuses that allowed brokers to have those tools, to charge people up to 6% on a loan, to loosen loan standards to a point where anyone could get a loan, the geniuses that sold and resold and resold packaged loans for profits, how about borrowers/consumers who took way too much cash out of there home who paid off their credit card debts and then ran it up again. Those that invested in 2nd and 3rd homes and rented them out because for some strange reason they believed that housing prices could continue to go up and up and up. How about the economist that didn't do anything about it.. like alan greenspan who encouraged this type of behavior. The brokers were just small time players in this, but they definitely deserve their share of the blame. Specifically, he take the money upfront, collects all your personal financial information and has you talk to a dozen people who work in his "office," most who sound too young to know much, and then he does nothing.
