there´s a flo-pack ( sic ) muffler on it but I always thopught that you shouldn´t hear a Lincoln come or go. and at idle you asbsolutelu couldn´t hear if it was running or not.

Thanks for sharing this! Brought back such great memories we had! It was our families 2nd car. Dad gave it to us to use in High School. The Mean Green Machine we named it. The best car ever!!! SOLID and GOOD LOOKING!

As the owner of an original 1968 Lincoln Continental sedan with 111,000 miles and in excellent condition I have to say that I am glad to see that you are keeping this beautiful Lincoln in original condition. Dropping these cars or treating them like hot rods is just not what these elegant cars are about. Hope you keep it all original.

thats a sweet 68, i have one of my own. it's a 2 door. i love it. if you drop it 2 inchs it looks sweet and it drives awsome. :)

@TheLincolnGuy i thought they only used the 462 in 66 and 67 and dropped it in 68 for the 460 due to valve train problems

@StalkerWolf The 462 was used in 66 and 67 and very early 68 models until they switched to the 460.
