I believe that the 21st of Dec 2012 is the date that the stars Nemesis (brown dwarf companion star) or Nibiru reaches it's closest approach to the sun. It's closest approach will be the Kuiper belt and it will cause asteroids to hurtle in towards Earth. So the moon's orbit has not been drastically affected? It wasn't sucked up by Nibiru? Earth itself could become a satellite of Nibiru if you believe this. Earth would be propelled into a new orbit around the sun.
I think Jupiter is the unformed binary twin of the Sun. Our system didn't have enough mass to produce a binary system.
For now, I'll say that Nibiru is new age folklore. I trust ancient mythologies far more. Nevertheless, I will look for the facts supporting the return of Nibiru.

I believe that the 21st of Dec 2012 is the date that the stars Nemesis (brown dwarf companion star) or Nibiru reaches it's closest approach to the sun. It's closest approach will be the Kuiper belt and it will cause asteroids to hurtle in towards Earth. Depending on the speed they get hurtled at they could arrive at Earth in about 40 years time after 2012.
So I believe the world will be devastated by multiple asteroid bombardments somewhere around the year 2052+.

For all we know Nibiru blew up a long time ago, we don't know. What if Nibiru is the size of jupiter? i was thinking about the significance of the number 3600. why does a circle have 360 degrees? is the protractor a device used to predict nibirus location? every 100 years nibiru moves one degree around its path, according to whoever came up with 3600 years. aint that some shit?

Personally I think it would be cool to have a binary system. I can't verify any of it, all I can do is wait and watch. We might get hit by an astroid right after you read this post. According to factaul history on tablets, the floods, ice age, and timing of that 3600 year cycle. Who knows what can hit us, comet, planet, junk. I'm going to assume for now that this possible and pay attention, and that all I can do.
What is alien when you consider the universe as a whole? The unknown?
