The NIC teaming and load balancing will allow for increased network capacity and for failover. However it will not increase the network speed by "adding" the speeds of the individual NICs together. If you have 100 MB NICs in a team, then that NIC team will still only be able to provide 100 MBs through each NIC.
I have a question. With NIC teaming and load balancing, does it increase the speed of the network, i.e. with 2 100mb/s could you achieve theoretical speeds of 200mb/s with 2 NIC's (and concurrently with 2 1000mb/s could you achieve theoretical speeds of 2000mb/s)?
