While FFBs are nice, the ultimate froob doc weapon for this level range is the upgraded neleb rod, with better damage (sort of), but the kicker is a 40 nanodrain per hit, meaning endless heals

@pyroatheist FFBs are miles better damage, and AR in PvP, rod is only useful in PvM really.. if you build a doc right it won't run out of nano with FFB in PvP

@steadrick If you really think that, try facing another doc using a neleb rod, with you using FFBs, youll run out of nano extremely fast. Additionally, if you are facing another strong nanousing prof, like a MA, Advy, or even an enfo for mongo, they will run out of nano much faster because of the nanodrain on the neleb rod. Aside from that...the rod has a higher AR and damage in pvp, because of the easy osbing of 2hb, and because of the convenience of where clusters are located.

@pyroatheist nelebs rod being 50% isnt good damage at all really.. Twice as slow as FFB and much lower AR.. FFB get 40 from weaps you don't get that from more convenient clusters. And vs a doc with nelebs, thats init debuffed would be hitting incredibly slow, whereas with FFB you cn still hit almost 1/1 with a bit in inits. Meaning you can OD their heals rather than try run them out of nano.
