  • Great singing, a little reverb would have been nice. The guitar of course is dead on

  • You really do an excellent cover of PG's stuff !! I think where many stay is to take it too seriously,I've always felt Mac and PG's blues were lighthearted and played very creatively.I think that is why I prefer it to EC's more commercial shredding blues he evolved into.TY for posting!! One cover I've always wanted to see PG's version of "Double Trouble" he performed while with Mayall's Bluesbreakers..Thanks again for sharing.

  • Loved it.

  • Hittin' the sweet spot Larry.

  • superb playin', amazing tone

  • WOW, your playing really sells the guitar sooo well! I've checked out all you videos and cant wait for news on the future preoduction of your amazing fadeds!

    Great playing man.

  • Hey, I love this tune! You sang very well and the guitar / amp sounds really great!

  • sorry the guitar sound on my left ear only annoyed me at the start but when you started to sing to my right ear it was even worst.....love your old schoole style seems like you are not trying to over-do on your solos wich IMO some artist try too hard to impress the crowed and not enjoy the moment..{Garry Moore you know who you are lol...still love garry moore}

we should play togather someday...id love to get some tips or just jam to the night

  • Awesome! excellent cover and perfect playing with feeling and so sweet vibratos, also your voice is perfect and absolutely great for this wonderfull song :-) You are a great guitarist.

    Cheers

  • larry tell us why u like peter green so much?i think hes fab tooo but i havent got the saint like patience to work it all out lol

  • oh my god, wow im 15 i play guitar, i only play the blues, it will be great when i can play like that! thank you very much for that amazing video!

  • oh yes also amazing vocals i hope to be able to sing that well

  • You're on the right track, young man. This is good stuff. Get your hands on as much OLD Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac stuff as you can get --it is a bible on blues tone, touch and tastefulness. Being an owner of one of Larry's fine instruments, I can also say that would be a great axe to have, as well. Keep the blues alive!

  • Sweet, I hope you'll come over to Japan for some gigs sometimes.

  • Excellently done! Thanks.

  • Thank you sir for the post your passion is greatly appreciated. I must have watched your videos for two hours now over and over you are a very special talent and I wish you all the best and hope I might be so lucky to hear you live one day thank you again please keep posting joy. • Again...your own phrasing is fantastic. Green would be proud.

  • Absolutely great Larry, always nice to see and hear you play. Cheers

  • Larry, Can you tell me how or where to get the backing tracks you use for the Peter Green songs?

  • Other than Need Your Love So Bad, I made the other backing tracks myself, using "Band In A Box" software. I can't remember where I got Need Your Love So Bad, but it wasn't difficult to find online.

  • Thanks Larry.

  • I have a copy of the Carousel Ballroom. The Jeremy Spencer tracks can get repetitive (how many times can you cop Elmore James). The Peter Green stuff just kills!

  • Hey Larry, what's that tweed hiding over in the corner of the screen-anything tasty?

  • It's a '59 Tremolux. Awesome amp! I used it on the Love That Burns video.

  • I just checked it out-just fantastic. I was so pleased to see you did close ups on your earlier videos. Any chance you could do a close up on this tune? I've got a P.Green song book, but to see some one actually play it up close would help an intermediate player like myself. I'm really enjoying your videos. I check every day to see if you've posted anything new-it's like Christmas day when you do. Cheers

  • What I really need is two cameras. It's important to see what both hands are doing. Then, I would need the time to figure out how to edit it all together in one video. When I have more time, I'll do a close-up of this one, without vocals, of only the Peter Green parts.

  • Yet another perfect cover! The sweetest tone ive heard, almost as good as Peter himself. Very nice playing aswell, and very nice vocals. Very well done friend!

  • That would be great. Thanks

  • That was sweet!
