because of the many young ones on here i wont share all but this time a year ago i did something that hurt not just me but my family. and when i was drowning in my own guilt and pain. God sent me many life savers and today i am proud to say that i am glad he did cause i have a son that i love very much and am glad God not only helped me to see what i would have missed but how i can live to be happy everyday.

He had struggled with his sobriety but had worked so hard in a Celebrate Recovery program and Pastor Drew knew that his song was important to Sam in CR as well as in the youth program. The Lord has redeemed me from the deepest, darkest pit of depression as well. Many times I thought it would be the end of me. He had other ideas, and showed me He has a plan for my life. Jeremiah 29:11. :) Challenges continue, but He is here to help. Always.
To anyone struggling, know that when you hit rock bottom, Jesus will break your fall. He can be your firm foundation (1 Cor. 3:10-11) amidst times of upheaval.

Thank you so much for your prayers Beanscot...my son is home from NY. He had a 3 day trip...spent too much money, but walked everyday around NY. Saw the sites that were important to him. Came home a grateful, humble man. Now he leaves again on a journey with his Christian grandparents to help an elderly Uncle in Arizona next week.
