+ it doesn't really suit the genresof the show, the genres are horror/comedy, this would seem like it's for some old show or a stand up comedy show or something

Sorry to be a bore, but Ronnie Hazlehurst wasnt the composer of this theme tune, you will see on the credits that it was composed by Gaynor Colbourn and Hugh Wisdom. I am Gaynor Colbourn, very much alive, and still composing and performing. I really like the animation put to the music, very clever. Ronnie conducted the band at the Maidevale Studios, but didnt compose the music.

I found this when searching for the 'Sorry' opening credits. Always loved that ridiculously OTT funky guitar.

Fucking glad they rejected this one!! The one they used was far more in keeping with the series and sets the scene far more appropriately. I can see the irony in copying "Sorry", but it is so important to get this sort of thing right. These writers transcend the mundane and cringeworthy in comedy and therefore deserve to be set apart from the rest.

ye they all have sights, it was the whole point of the series, a lot of it was internet bassed so the plot was easily understood. there is an online game on the BBC website that plays alonge with the series.
