  • Oh, look, Christianity!

  • I just made this tonight! Soooo good thank you.

  • If you want even more flavor in the soup I recommend using Korean Beef Dashida or a similair beef flavor broth if you cannot find Dashida. :)

  • your cooking knowledge is mine! ::Shang Tsung Voice::

  • I haven't tried this recipe yet but I imagine the taste to be mild and comforting. There's a total of 5 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to account for 5 cups of water. That's not a lot of salt (a good thing)! I've already got some white radish, garlic, onion, cooking wine and soy sauce in the fridge. All I'm missing is the beef! Can't wait to try out your recipe.

  • o: my mommy makes this too

    but we're cambodian .__. <?

  • @ReiReining

haha.. really.. that's interesting. ^^ Nice to meet you.

  • @ReiReining me too, i'm khmer also, but we use the long white radish. i'm gonna try the round one. i love iskitchen recipes, the way she gives instructions are so simple, easy , neat, and delicious.

  • @SIRSOSMOOTH aeriskitchen! i meant to type.

  • This looks tasty...is the korean radish you use called daikon?

  • @shair00 It's called moo in Korean. And it's raw, not pickled like daikon.

  • @shair00 Daikon and the Korean radish are closely related enough that they can be used to substitute each other - unless you're a Nazi for culinary authenticity. Daikon IS raw. Pickled daikon is called "Takuan".

  • @goshadowkenny lol....i am not a culinary nazi by any means...thank you for the information, this soup looks fantastic and i must try it sometime soon..

  • hi ^^ i forgot wat its called but can i request the dokbokki with ramen? i watched the regular dokbokki vid and i rly liked it so i was wondering if u can make the one with ramen :D thanks!

  • What's yeonduu?

  • @xKaoKaox

Youndoo is a liquid type sauce for seasoning your dish. it's mainly made with soy sauce and other vegetable ingredients such as garlic..mushroom.. etc.. they braise the ingredients together to get extract type liquid.. it's convenience to use for extra good flavor for your food..especially soup and side-dishes.. try sempio site for more information.

  • @aeriskitchen thanks aeri! sounds like something really delicious, I'll look for it in the market the next time I try and make moo gook

  • 연두가 뭐에요?? ㅎㅎ 들어 본적이 없어서... 잘 보고 갑니당~ ^^

  • @yiZEnE

  • i bet westerners will love this soup..

  • can we use other types of radish for this like daikon or the small red ones that grow here?

  • @PlatypusGuitar

they have different taste and texture..but if you don't have korean radish.. you can try them..I will prefer to use daikon radish than red ones..for this soup though.. thanks
