I remember this movie so well, it brings back so many memories. When this came out I was madly in love with this guy from El Salvador. We used to have such and good time and he treated me like a queen. I miss him.

This is coming back to me. I use to listen it to all the time. I have the CD and this song, as I said, is my favorite but I've realized until you hear it on the CD, the depth of it is lost on a person. It sounds hollow here but you need to hear the length of it and the depth of it. :) I remember what it was like to be in a foreign land and meet someone from your part of the US or just the US! You bond like these men. Like nothing else.

Of all the songs in this movie the one on the radio touches my heart the most. I'd forgotten how beautiful it was. . . Ah, first love. You never forget it but things like his remind me. I've been married for 39 years yet he can come into a room when I'm not expecting him and my heart pounds and I stop breathing and don't know it. And it was because the occupation for the Northamerican for so long in my country. They had a piece of my country just for him, like now they have a part of Puerto Rico.
