Tune your guitar half a step down. If you don't know how, youtube it, there are videos to help you. The verse is simple G then D. To play the pre-chorus ("When I was down, came to me...") you play G D B C. The chorus (Jamie, oh Jaime...) is as follows: G D E B C G D B C. With this information, you should be able to play the entire song except the part which is: sometimes it seems, you're not with me. For that, you play G D B.

wow this is way off, first of all the starting chords are a full g chord and then a d. you suck

actually you're wrong. first of all, this guy is in a completely foreign tuning to me so i don't know if he's playing it exactly right and neither do you. the opening chords of this song are F# and C#, not G and D. the hand positionings are only G and D if you are tuned down a half step.

sorry i meant the hand positions are g and d. gb and db f# and d# are the same thing to let you know. i went to a concert and got to talk to chris. i asked him about some songs including this one. he plays it in half step down like pretty every other dashboard song.
