@ColtonKuhn1 I believe the sound comes from the derestriction. It's the combination of lack of mufflers and big ol 3 inch pipe that makes the sound growl and resonate.

@benlyons83 Great question! Yes, there is a noticeable amount of backpressure loss. Specifically mid-range between 2000-4500 rpm going WOT. I want to say the increased flow up top makes up for it though...

@t0ppi3 Of course! I don't know how much help this will be but it's a full custom exhaust that partially utilizes an OBX SS downpipe. Then it goes through a Catco race cat and finishes dual outlet with full 3" piping...

@johnrscherer Running pipe from just the cat wouldn't make that much difference...from what I've learned, the biggest restrictions are the small downpipe and the cat. Changing piping post-cat will vary the sound but won't do much for performance...

verrry true lol. my friend has a v70r and that thing is a beast on power. with a few upgrade like the intake Jpipe, K&N drop in, and EBC that thing enjoys the cruise control being set at 120 on the highway. and when you see the spedometer on a stationwagon bury itselfs beyond 140 and keep going around its gotta be one of the best feelings lol
