I Have Seen The DIC Logo Somewhere

I was lucky I saw the Vortex on a Teletoon rerun of "The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin". As someone from Newfoundland and Labrador, I would sometimes see this on reruns of the show when they aired on CITV-TV in Edmonton (ITV, now Global Edmonton, since WIC sold most of its television assets to CanWest, which in turn now sold them to Shaw!)

Usually when I saw Inspector Gadget on YTV about 4 years ago they didn't have the new logo plastered on, they used the green vortex. The only time I saw the Incredible World Of DIC logo on a YTV rerun of Inspector Gadget they had the LBS and Bohbot logos left out entirely, as they were replaced with the Saban and Fox Kids logos.

The "kid in bed" logo DiC had used from 1987-2001 had a history of creeping out young children. I'm sure the "Incredible World of DiC" logo was created for just that reason.

I remember seeing this, about a month ago on YTV, after Inspector Gadget. It was the first time I had ever heard of, or seen, the Bobbatt logo.

I don't like that LBS logo very much only because I'm sensitive to sound. I don't even like having the sound on my computer turned up too loud.

These logos were also included on DVD. Shame that they replaced the "Inspector Gadget" custom logo as well as the "Vortex" from 1984 with "The Incredible World Of DIC" from 2001.

YTV doesn't stand for Youth Television. It said so on their site(And Wikipedia).

Yes it does. YTV has stood for "Youth Television" since 1988. It's too bad it doesn't have the youthful spirit of youth anymore.

Nah it's funny, only b/c LBS '84 looks very arthritic, even more so then when it is captured. Yeah, that's the stuff.
