i think that whats going on here is that without the fairness doctrine you have the right wing and left winger dont get their own show on the radio.

instead you get the"top o the morning show "guys yelling back at and forth with raush limbaugh just like when the pundets yell at each other on tv.

Those issues were in nations that controlled everything that was said. If you want the "Fairness Doctrine," then you want despots deciding what is talked about in the public.

I dont think I understand "the fairness" doctrine... It sounds like a good thing that was taken away, and that reintroducing what is named "fair" would be a UNfair thing to do. I never heard of such a thing. Is it for or against free speech?

Think of George Orwell's "1984." The Ministry of Truth is a propaganda control that not only determines what is said, but history as well. So the Ministry of Truth is a ministry of lies. The Ministry of Love is actually a ministry of hate.

So, if you love Big Brother, the "Fairness Doctrine" is for you.
