i have this phone. but the new version. well not new still old but the replacement for the first one. doesnt have the blue dot. sometimes it freezes a bit or randomly turns off but ive never had a phone last this long. i dropped it atleast 30 feet and it still works.

I have had the Samsung Glyde for awhile now, and it may have its bad moments, but doesn't every phone? I mean really? It has its moments where the screen goes white and randomly shuts off but so does my moms enV3 and my brothers enVtouch sucks! Mine is even better than theirs. :) i like my phone.

My Glyde does the exact same thing when it's charging and even when I try to use the touch screen. I had this phone since September 2, 2008, but if I wanted to get a different phone, I'd go with a Blackberry Storm 2 or Motorola Droid. One morning when I woke up, it said Mobile Email when I charged it. The screen was locked, and it must have unlocked by itself. My cousin had the original Glyde and the updated one after it, but he lost that one. He got the LG enV Touch phone same as my sister.

When i had the glyde, i took it to Verizon and they gave me a replacement for the voyager. But you have to fight for it, tell them that that's not how a phone should act. If that Verizon store doesn't work try a different one. I had to go to a different store because mine didn't care about me.

I have this phone and it fucking blowssss both my brother's and mine do it as well, only my brother's is worse and he hardly has put any use in it. I have to shut it off constantly to try to text and sometimes i go to answer a call and it jumps to ignore so I have to slide it open and deal with speaker phone, and then they pull it off the shelf and expect me to buy another.

If you take your Glyde to a verizon store, they will swap your old glyde for the new glyde "refresh", free of charge. The refresh has a much better, resistive (pressure sensitive) touch screen as opposed to the heat sensitive screen in this video. I did it, and the phones touch screen problems are gone

I got my glyde in September of 08 and it does that too. I havn't gotten the new BI29 update but my friend has it and said "the glitch where it touches the bottom instead of anywhere else is gone" is that true because alot of people say the Glyde is still crap even with BI29 update

You can get a phone off ebay. What i did when i needed a new phone wuz that i asked one of my friends to report her phone lost, then send the $50 for the new phone. Then i paid the $50, kept the new phone, and the company connected it for free. Plus, this won't cost your friend any money and you get a brand new phone for a super cheap price. The best part is that it's completely legal and safe
