Sounded just like this and man I miss that car - well I miss 80 cent per gallon gas that we had then too back in 79. It would kill me to fill that same car up now since it seemed to get gallons to the mile rather than miles per gallon

Hey nice man I have a 1973 Charger SE with the optional 440 and Pistol Grip shifter. Although It is currently my project, it was my dads when he was young. But none the less This video really makes me want to finish it up. All it needs is a Carb, a good cleaning, and paint and cosmetic work done to it. Any suggestions as to a carb? Was thinking Edelbrock for the sake of being able to drive it on the street. Someone told me to only use holley for Racing. What do you think?

I actually have a Barry Grant "Demon" carb on mine - if you contact them- they will ask a bunch of specifics on your car and make sure you get the right size - it's worth checking out IMHO - I bought it from Muscle Motors in Lansing but went directly to the BG site for carb info= hope this helps

I LOVE it when people post a comment about a subject they know NOTHING about! Take blairwitch for example. If you KNEW anything about cars,you'd know that cold mufflers will accumulate moisture when warm exhaust flows through them. When you rev it up, guess what, you have excess moisture blown out the tailpipe. OIL- that's funny.

no ... actually when I filmed this, it was running pretty rich on a bad carb, and just out of winter storage ..... if I were to fire it up right now, there's nothing that comes out except good sound ! .... I also switched from these shot mufflers to Dynomax Ultra flows .... I need a new video

nope, although it may look like it .... first time I took it out of storage after winter, and there was moisture in the exhaust / mufflers .. doesn't burn any fluids and doesn't do it at all in the summer, when it gets driven on a regular basis ;)

i've owned my wrx for 5.5 years now. i love it and i love the sound of it. it has a distinct sound from other 4's like the vr6, vq35s are distinct for a v6 (to which i love the notes as well)
