i stand corrected- 2011 activity was high- 2010 was below average- and the decade average from 2001 shows average actvity- a few high years and some average- total number of quakes well within historical records and one must remember years ago many were not reported or detected- last 40 years has seen a huge increase in the amount of data detection so past years 1960s and back are estimated to have had many more quakes than are listed officially which further proves activity is about average

What I do think is wrong is automatically assuming that is the reason someone has said something. I agree, we should HELP each other, but I can't see how calling people names, being rude or egotistical about it is helping anyone.

@Akasha987 Erm, just because it's natural doesn't mean it doesn't coincide with something approaching, my understanding is that any 'Judgement' that takes place will be by the ET race who helped create us, they left obvious signs of their presence all over the place (and still do today), there is lots of truth in religious texts if you know how to interpret them, i.e. gods coming down from heaven = aliens, son of god = the sun, holy spirit = inter-dimensional beings/telepathy... ?

@Akasha987 while this isnt judgment day, I would not consider a 3 standard deviation icnrease in VEI 4 eruptions to be normal. Crazy folks are crazy... but this volcano stuff is statistically significant. Not armageddon, but worth looking into.
