The Burlington police have BEEN racist they've just hidden it for too long.
Officer Poston arrested me some years back and took me to Graham jail for a trespassing charged that ended up being dismissed, but while I was there he told C.O. Knight to give me "the treatment". I didn't know what meant until 3 held me down and C.O. White stood on my head literally sprayed me with pepper spray and put me in isolation for 3 days so I couldn't make a phone call to let anyone know where I was.

1 officer being "FIRED" isnt the same as the "Officers" were fired. and the officers I can make out still work there. I have court cases 2 to 4 times a week. so they were not fired or they were rehired....dont know which but they still wear ACSO uniforms. and theirs nothing wrong with the stop here anyways...drugs are drugs...go straight to jail

@LTCARROLL1 - I checked today (Feb. 15, 2011) with Sherry Hook, Alamance County's human resources director. She said Cpl. Mike Apple has NOT been rehired by the county. So now, I guess the question is, where do you get your information? Your source must not be very reliable.

Um.. so what did the officers do wrong? I watched this several times and all I see is some police officers detaining and arresting some people who apparently were in possession of illegal drugs. I live in Alamance Co. and I know that we have issues with the Sheriff's dept. but I didn't see any of them here. They always keep the "ICEbox" (the slang term for the illegal alien holding tank in booking) full.
Maybe the people in Alamance co and the people of Youtube should think about the officer that lost his job because this video was posted. The guy that lost his job was the one with the dog and not the Willie Nelson look alike, lets remember that guy did nothing wrong. Maybe Youtube and the person that posted this clip should remember that that officer has a family and cannot get a job due to this crap. I'm not saying what happened to that suspect wasn't wrong, somebody should look into that.
your right being hispanic does not make these men criminals but having cocaine in their possession does make them criminals! I don't care what race they are having drugs is against the law. Being a mother I am more than happy people like these are arrested and hopefully not put back on the streets
for those people who like to comment on the way these police officers handled this situation; unless you put your life on the line every day to protect others against men like these criminals you should probably keep you rmouths shut!. If an officer filed the privacy complaint, then I think YouTube community would agree, this video should stand, as the info is public record. Our local Sheriff stands behind his people and I'm sure he'd want the public to see how they operate. If one of the people in the truck filed the privacy complaint, I would fear they were coerced into doing so, as they are still in the hands of the police who made this video. Their complaint is therefore made under duress and should be ignored.
As this video is reportedly the subject of an FBI investigation, it's important that it remain available to the citizens of Alamance County. It's the only way they'll ever know what prompted that investigation.
Someone has filed a privacy complaint against this video, and YouTube is considering removing it. It seems that at least one person in Alamance County can't handle the truth. If you think YouTube should allow the video to remain, let YouTube know about it!
Ok, I've seen the policeman with the pigtail, jump his knee into someone.. then what looks like several punches to that someone. Sorry, but his hand doesn't look "stuck"... it looks like short punches...
But what of the other questions, like, why would a routine traffic stop include a guy in a tactical vest? Why wait for a second police car to film the first, if the original probable cause for the stop was for weaving... the first car would just pull over the weaver, or endanger everyone.
