Its fine for heros to get beat down rarely. I mean look at guys like Jackie Chan, Jet Li and mostly JCVD. These guys play hero's but I have seen them get beat down pretty bad but still get the upper hand. Thats how it should be. Good guys will have to win i nthe end. But with Segal, once he get his hands on a bad guy, he fucks them me up without a single scratch, bruise or cut. Fight's does'nt even last long either.
steven segal is a respected aikido master but in his later on films do you think he uses wing chun punches and locks? like the vertical punches and the locks there were all from wing chun not aikido
In the later films he got lazy and let stunt men do most/all of the work, therefore they used whatever martial art that went best with the camera tricks they used to conceal the constant use of stunt men. Also I think to a certain degree he started using wing chun techniques to look abit new, maybe he felt the usual aikido stuff was getting abit old or something
He's a master at Aikido and that's what he's best known for, but he's also trained under quite a few other martial systems.
From what I understand, the reason he's had a lot of excessive stunt doubles in his films within these past several years, is his knee got messed up pretty badly and had to have surgery.
best movie line ever

LMFAO, that punch came out of nowhere, it was like he grew a third fist out of his chest and it came up and struck him.
