I'm 18 weeks pregnant. At my last ultrasound they also found echogenic bowel, but nothing else so far. I'm really nervous. They are telling me that because of this it may be down syndrome or cystic fibrosis. I had to receive a blood test to check if something is wrong, and now I need a high def ultrasound. I'm really worried. Glad everything turned out fine for you though.
@Alicia1105391 I understand how you feel...please try not to worry. Echogenic bowel is quite common and most times it goes away! I pray that all will be well with baby!!
@themommybiz Thank you. I got the results back from my quad test (blood screening for downs and other abnormalities) and it came back normal. I'm just going to wait it out now and do follow-up ultrasounds. I pray that nothing else will be found. Good luck with your pregnancy!
