Yes,the solo by George in "Til There Was You" is outstanding. Check out the "Royal Command Performance" from November of 1963 and listen to that live version. You won't ne disappointed!!
But got it wrong, it's first Don't Bother Me, as you've written, but then it's Till There Was You, not Little Child, and the Please Mr. Postman, not Till There Was You, and then All My Loving, which was in Part 1… But you've probably already spotted that…
@TheBeatlesRoooock Something like that happened to me once. It was a rainy day and I was sitting on the bus, so I put on my iPod, and I hear Paul start singing "Good Day Sunshine". And I just looked at it, and was like, "Really?"
@SiameseDream4321 I agree with you!(Their producer George Martin said that his voice wasn't that good in an Anthology interview).Poor George was lucky if he got 2 songs on an album!
I remember one time two years ago I was feeling bad so I turned on the radio to the oldies station to cheer myself up, and what should be playing but Don't Bother Me. So (lol) I yelled "Fine, be like that!" at the radio.
one of my favorite albums, people keep missing out on these amazing beatles songs such as the ones on this album , and just paying attention to other songs that were hits like I am the walrus,
Yeah, totally loved the club scene with this albums songs playing, great scene. "Don't Bother Me" and "All My Lovin" being two of my favorites from the album I was thrilled.
Johns rhythm guitar in "All my lovin" his badass. Sounds like the older style, which of course then was only five to seven years old. What an amazing time with music then
Thanks! You can hear a bit of this in a Hard Days Night as the boys are dancing and having a ball before shake comes back to round them up.. I love Georgie...
