The youth group at our church did an easter sun rise service and we performed a play. I played the role of jesus as he was being hung on the cross and his rising three days later. This song played as i walked up to be crucified. God is real my friends and he is all around us. I know we can be busy at times but there is never too much to give to God for relief. Third day is my favorite christian band. Mac Powell's voice is so awesome and unique. I can tell he really has a heart for god, and when i listen to their music i can really feel jesus speaking to me. God Bless ya'll!

To Frodowise and gjsterp, how about you compromise? You're both partly right. Jesus didn't promise and easy life, or one that OTHERS might consider a happy life, but he did promise joy! and that joy is what makes life happy, not ephemeral fits of happiness, but lasting, pure, joy. So you are both right! and this song is AWESOME! Great reminder of God's love

This is has got to be the most beautiful and powerful song ever written!!! A love song from Jesus himself to you. How can you not accept His everlasting love? He's the most romantic being and there's no high like His holy presence. No high on earth compares. All the gold and diamonds in the world cannot compare. Believe in Him and you shall be saved. Third Day is sooooo talented, and this is their very first song written as Third Day, and it's still a huge hit!!!!m God has for sure blessed Third Day with the gift of showing the world how much God loves them. And yet there doing it because they feel its there calling and they're living the dream at the same that is soooo awesome

Nothing makes you want to be an atheist. There just isn't any proof or evidence that Jesus is God, or that there is a God at all. So it would not be rational for me to believe there is.

eorek: I have often wondered why Christians bother quoting from the likes of Corinthians.
These obviously were words written by men after Jesus.
I would think if it was worth saying Jesus would have said it.
"I will not be mastered by anything," does not sound like anything Jesus would have said, since he often referred to following his father's (master's) commands.
If you will "not be mastered by anything," then why let your freedom of thought become subservient to dogma?

But the Bible also states that because God knows we will sin in this manner he would prefer it be between a husband and wife. Therefor it is only a sin when done outside of marriage.

Ingersol seems to have completely missed the point of Scripture. "Happiness makes us bad here, but not in heaven" is ridiculous. Nowhere in Scripture is holy happiness (i.e. happiness that is not caused or aided by sin) ever condemned.
"To believe without evidence...is accounted as righteousness to the...humble Christian" is utter stupidity and slander, plain and simple. The Bereans, to name a more well-known example, were praised for checking the Christian's teachings against the Scriptures.

This is a great song. Most worship songs are us singing to Jesus (and rightfully so) but in this case it is Him who is singing to us.
