I knew I forgot to point out something in these vids! In Mega Man 6, there are real and fake bosses for four levels. The real ones are harder to get to.
By defeating the real version of a robot master, you earn a Beat letter along with the special weapon.
Okay cool, are the colours different than usual or still the same theme? I would assume it was kept the same, but I would give the rom hacker extra credit if they went through the trouble of creating custom palletes.
You get: horrendously abusable weapon

My favourite robot master, one of my favourite stage themes.
Kinda disappointed that it looks a bit simpler.
What the hell is with his lair?
And what about stage re-visitations, are they still alternative colours?
