@Irmgardrawn Irmgard, That is so interesting, because it sounds very similar to what we saw on the quays of the Seine. A real hodgepodge of people all doing the tango in the Parisian evening. In an era of "terror alerts" it was a truly wonderful testament to the civilizing power of music.
And so far we are enjoying the lessons very much. It seems like they might make a very nice break for you - not to mention a gold mine of potential ideas for a mystery writer!

I spent a summer in Denali, doing stream-gauging, measuring the run-off from the McKinley glaciers... For four months I was constantly cold and wet, menaced by bears, and bitten by bugs....and yet it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Thank you for the skilfully made pictorial reminder of the spectacular Alaskan wild!
There we are , we 3-Rawns arriving by 5-Star ship to the austere yet awesome wilderness of Alaska, in some areas untouched by civilization for millions of years!

You really are an accomplished photographer/videographer. More and more Dayna and I can see why Andy is so proud of his beautiful wife and family.
Yes, I caved in on the tango lessons. And so far I haven't regretted it. -- Although, my best calf-skin Luccheses will never be the same !
