I know that Dave Grohl didn't really like this album, but still . . . this song (along with Times Like These) makes the $11 I spent on it kinda worth it. Just sayin' . . .

One By One was not terrible, or bad, or sucked. It's a very good album (though TCATS will always be my favorite) and shows how strained the band was feeling at this point. Anyway, I love the intro to the song, the harmonies in the verse and the balls to the wall screaming Dave does at the end. Amazing song from an amazing album. I'd LOVE to hear this played live.

I usually don't turn my speakers up too loud, but with this I just had to... I like this song a lot, even if I'm not familiar with anything having to do with Foo Fighters but the basic songs.
of the two or three favorite projects of Dave and the foos...Just the whole album has a great rock sound. Hard and soft...perfectly done. I think a lot of rock records are soundtracks to life....and this one does it for me...my life is a bunch of ups and downs and soft and loud...and hidden agression, which this record, i feel definitely covers.
This arguably my favourite foo fighters song. got a wicked intensity to it. the instrumental break fits so well. and then when he comes back with the grungy vocals, takes it to a new level of intensity even still.

In Your Honor is OK but half the rock side is kinda lame for the standards I hold Grohl to. But that Echo, Silence, Patience, Grace stuff is terrible and Them Crooked Vultures made me fall asleep. Dave is definitely better at acoustic songs now. Not to shit on your opinion. I've just heard him since I was like 9 or 10 years old. From In Utero to Probot he was the most unstoppable force in rock to me. But now I'm not so sure. He doesn't suck I can just tell he's watered down now.
You think ESPG is terrible even tho it has songs like let it die, stranger things have happened, pretender, etc? I just don;t see how you don;t like any of those.
Simply they're not written well ... Dave Grohl's intensity lies in songs like Miracle and Razor now. He's better at pretty 40 year old songs now. When he writes songs like FFL and the Pretender you can tell he's forcing it. He's my favorite musician and has influenced me greatly in my personal music efforts. But lets be serious beating a dead horse is beating a dead horse.
I think you really need to re-listen to ESPG if you think it doesn't bring intensity... I can't believe how you say all off the songs aren't well written thats bull shit especially for songs like let it die and come alive. But we all have opinions but i really can't seem to grasp yours =/

Isn't it weird that most fans really love this album? I'm pretty sure on more than one occasion Dave has said it was his least favorite album. I just think it's kind of funny because so many of us love it.
I've heard Dave say on a few interviews , that he doesn't like the record. , but I and and alot of other people think it's a solid record through and through.
From track 1 thru track 11 each song brings a diffrent vibe and feel.
this is easily my favorite song on the album which is also my favorite. I also like have it all, burn away, comeback, halo and times like these. I also like the rest of the songs just as well.

I usually don't turn my speakers up too loud, but with this I just had to... I like this song a lot, even if I'm not familiar with anything having to do with Foo Fighters but the basic songs.

of the two or three favorite projects of Dave and the foos...Just the whole album has a great rock sound. Hard and soft...perfectly done. I think a lot of rock records are soundtracks to life....and this one does it for me...my life is a bunch of ups and downs and soft and loud...and hidden agression, which this record, i feel definitely covers.

This arguably my favourite foo fighters song. got a wicked intensity to it. the instrumental break fits so well. and then when he comes back with the grungy vocals, takes it to a new level of intensity even still.

In Your Honor is OK but half the rock side is kinda lame for the standards I hold Grohl to. But that Echo, Silence, Patience, Grace stuff is terrible and Them Crooked Vultures made me fall asleep. Dave is definitely better at acoustic songs now. Not to shit on your opinion. I've just heard him since I was like 9 or 10 years old. From In Utero to Probot he was the most unstoppable force in rock to me. But now I'm not so sure. He doesn't suck I can just tell he's watered down now.

Simply they're not written well ... Dave Grohl's intensity lies in songs like Miracle and Razor now. He's better at pretty 40 year old songs now. When he writes songs like FFL and the Pretender you can tell he's forcing it. He's my favorite musician and has influenced me greatly in my personal music efforts. But lets be serious beating a dead horse is beating a dead horse.

I think you really need to re-listen to ESPG if you think it doesn't bring intensity... I can't believe how you say all off the songs aren't well written thats bull shit especially for songs like let it die and come alive. But we all have opinions but i really can't seem to grasp yours =/

Isn't it weird that most fans really love this album? I'm pretty sure on more than one occasion Dave has said it was his least favorite album. I just think it's kind of funny because so many of us love it.

I've heard Dave say on a few interviews , that he doesn't like the record. , but I and and alot of other people think it's a solid record through and through.
From track 1 thru track 11 each song brings a diffrent vibe and feel.

this is easily my favorite song on the album which is also my favorite. I also like have it all, burn away, comeback, halo and times like these. I also like the rest of the songs just as well.
