Hello Bajia ji... I wanted to thank you again.Last time i made this dish for my friends they loved it but my husband was not there he was on a tour. Today i thought up to try this for my husband. we just now finished our dinner. I rush out after dinner to thank you. He just love this from any other chicken recipe. @wasay208, never coo frozen chicken, leave it out overnight if in winter soak it in hot water overnight. Otherwise blood will be seeping out till the end. Don’t make too much, cook it in a large open pot, without covering on high heat.
Could u plz also tell the measurement of chicken in pounds also ,cuz we r family of 10 people n I have to cook large portions of meal ,it will b helpful,how much do we need for like 12 pound chicken,if u could tell me the pounds for chicken then I can put spices accordingly, thank u for ur help , u can say I am a new learner in cooking ,:)
@wasay208 for 10 people 2 kg chicken curry is enough. Means one whole chicken medium to large sz cut and skinned. Add 1/4th to all the ingredients. You will be alright. Good luck

WS, We put the onions in the pressure cooker so that it can form a thick gravy when cooked, agar cooker nahi hai to theek hai, chicken to pressure cooker ke beghair bhi ban sakti hai :)

Good recipe, pressure cooking the onions makes a thick tasty gravy. With the tomato paste it was a very unique curry. The homemade garam masala goes perfectly. Another recipe to keep.

Do you use the smallest spoon as a teaspoon ( the one we use for sugar ect ) or the one bigger than that ? Because the quantity of the dry ingredients looks more on the plate.

WS, We put the onions in the pressure cooker so that it can form a thick gravy when cooked, agar cooker nahi hai to theek hai, chicken to pressure cooker ke beghair bhi ban sakti hai :)

Good recipe, pressure cooking the onions makes a thick tasty gravy. With the tomato paste it was a very unique curry. The homemade garam masala goes perfectly. Another recipe to keep.

it is a very good recipe. First recipe I leaned after marriage from a friend who was a great cook. She always had visitors, 2-3 people always there for lunch or dinner. cooking 2-3 dishes at a time.

Also jab aapne chicken bhuna to oose bhi cooker mein pressure Kiya,usko kitni whistle tak pakana hai?

pressure aati he time dekho, only 2 min, phir stove off kerdo, pressure ko khud nichey jane do, phir pani sukhao aur chicken dalo, chicken ko kisi bhi stage per pressure naheen dena.

Bajia your recipes are so good that no matter how late i get back from work, I feel like making them.Today I got back home at 8:30 pm and started cooking this recipe + the african bbq. African BBQ tau mein bauhut dafa bana chukee hoon aur hamesha zabardast bana hai, but it was my first attempt making this recipe of chicken curry. It turned out SOOO amazing. Do you use the smallest spoon as a teaspoon ( the one we use for sugar ect ) or the one bigger than that ? Because the quantity of the dry ingredients looks more on the plate.
