They will all have been about 8 or 9 at the time. They had already done Grade 1.

ohhh ok cool. I remember using chairs :p. Our dance teacher uses a church hall but she has dettachable barres that she can take off from one another at the end of the lesson. Very nifty ;)

She does. It was probably lopped off when I edited it so it all fit on one upload.

yeah, but she keeps repeating bemd stretch, instead of plie and stuff. but i must say they are doing quite well :D

Why are these girls working with chairs and not with barres??? I don´t think they have ever heard about posture or turnout...

Because they are in a church hall, not a dedicated dance studio. Despite the limited facilities, the dance school achieves excellent results in exams, auditions and competitions, so yes, they have heard about posture and turnout; they are little girls doing their one-hour-a-week dance class, and doing very well in my opinion!
