@RootSuitMan U mean the Galaxy S2? That has Gingerbread pre-installed already. If not, hook up to computer and upgrade with Kies. Screen off is only on custom Roms or Android 4.0 ICS...

dude there is a brightness option in the settings of the browser.. u should put it to max before comparing it to other phones ..and not to mention the "power saving mode " under the main settings - sound and display ..
