Music does not know boundaries indeed. Rosas Pandan is a classic Cebuano-Visayan song in Central and some parts of southern Philippines. It is my mother tongue and it is a beautiful language. Thank you for singing this classic hit so beautifully.  The song is about a beautiful maiden hailing from the countryside/mountains and mingling with people in the city with her exceptional voice and beauty as her assets.

This "Balitaw" is my only offering, the only legacy from my forefathers. A song that is ancient, the pride of our mountains. Here is my "Balitaw" as I dance beautifully to it. Fantastic ! " Rosas Pandan " is a visayan Folkloric song, it was a story of a maiden lass from the mountain trading Flowers " Rosas " and  "Pandan" leaves down at the town, where she happens to pass by a town festival and was invited to join a dance contest.and dodong ( the boy ) observed inday ( the maiden lass) dancing his saliva running out from his mouth, and there start the teasing of dodong.. Literally it was a funny in song, everybody must execute jolly smiles and laughter in their eyes!
