@dblooms That's exactly what I was thinking, though I've heard this song many times before. :P
I have the album downloaded to my computer from my friend that owns the album. When I heard he showed me the original CD, I was like "You lucky son of a bitch." xD
i wouldn't say that...if anything, it's moreso that if you never HEARD of mfkr you aren't a true maggot, but you don't have to like every song by slipknot to be a true maggot. it'd help, and i like every song, but it isn't required.
no everyone its bcuz when ppl were getting pissed off at slipknot bcuz they said tht all their band was was a lot of ppl who cant sing so kat their lead singern their band proved tht they can do a slowsong with out 66_ in it
yeah it is, but most of the lineup was different and they originally had a much different style, still had metal but far more experimental and added funk and jazz elements to their music.
thats understandable, thats because theres such a huge difference in lineup. only 3 of the members stay on slipknot, and (obviously) this is a different vocalist. there only used to be 6 members as opposed to the 9 now, and they also used to include other genres like funk in their music. after corey came on and when the line up became closer to what it is now, they became closest to the metal band we all know. they used to be far more experimental, even more than Vol 3 or All Hope Is Gone
i know how u feel, slipknots genre used to be very different than what it is now. they used to be far more experimental than they are now, even counting vol 3 and all hope is gone. listen to do nothing/bitchslap, the real version, and you'll see exactly how experimental they used to be.
yeah, their self titled album is my favorite, and mfkr is a great album also, but coreys lyrics were so much better then anders, or at least they were w/ most of the songs, but noth were good vocalists
yeah this is one of my favorite songs from the album too. this and slipknot (once it actually begins i like it) and the lyrics in killers are quiet are rly cool
Kinda funky...

When the bass kicks in at 0:46 it reminds me of the music playing when you fight Ganondorf in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. lol
