@DGENERATE07 as for swan song (zeps record label) whether it helped their image is debatable, but the fact is it did manage many acts and served as a legitimate label for acts like Bad Company and Maggie Bell. they never tried to be the best, i dont think any band considered to be does. they were just themselves, and people responded to it.they were selling out venues by mid 69' and were regarded as the best blues basd group around, but didnt hire PR until 72'. their music spoke for itself.
