Ruslan..you are 1 of the best fighter in K-1.but please don't say that Badr was scared of you..and you are stronger.he went for you from the beginning..than he said in the press conference that Alistair wont last more than 3 min in the semis..cos he was sure that you'd smoked in the first round against him.the ref stopped the game..yes..but it could be worst for you..just like Alistair..humiliation for sure..

Better translation for Karaev interview would be:

A No, I did not notice that. He still fears when being attacked, he covers, cannot work properly, I think there is no real problem, It just turned that way, that I missed his shot.

A I did not get enough time to fully understand what are his abilities Ruslan never said, that Bards fears him. Ruslan said that Badr fears being attacked.

I think the real problem is the 2 down rule... It messed up 3 fights in this tournament... At this level, where fighters punch so hard, downs happen to "easily"... Wether it was a real down or not, it's clear he could have kept on fighting...

He seemed to have a game plan, unfortunately Badr forced him instantly into a slug fest.

But he was gaining some some good shots here and there.

Since Alexcardo2000's saying the interpretation is bad I'll assume the 2nd Knockdown was the one he rejects.

And I agree but you have to see what the slow-mo too, The shock caused by the hook really would make anyone panic.

I think it's pretty obvious that he's growing and it won't take long before he becomes a real threat for the K1 champion's belt

I`ve rewatched the video and I shuould say that some of the subtitles are clearly wrong... Ruslan didn`t say anything like "Crashed/Couldn`t do anything", he said "i`m dissapointed that the fight ended so quickly" [meaning, he actually feels encouraged, and his pity is about that he`ll have to wait for another chance]

Poor subtitles translation.... only half of the phrases and part of the meaning of actual Ruslan`s words..

K1, please impove the subtitles! I don`t experience any problems this time because im partly russian myself,

but i guess i won`t be able to understand a lot from Ewerton`s conference:)...

And a lot of people will suffer from poor subtitles translations of other fighters...

And thank you for terrific tournament! Hope next year the fighters will be faster and more agile against Semmy:)
