  • YUP. I'm so getting one.

  • I would not be scared at all to leave my 3 year old son with our Doberman. She loves & treats him like he was her own.....even steals his clothes so she can sleep with them when he is away. Dogs learn by their owner's training. Bad owners make bad dogs.....period. Doberman's are amazing family dogs & can be wonderful with children if socialized properly. I hate ignorant people that try to give this breed a bad name.

  • You fuckin' pussy's if you want a pussy dog that doesn't do shit then get one. Do go out and buy a pitbull, doberman, or any other dog that is known for being a good tough guard dog and turn it into a pussy dog that gets scared from a little ass dog.

  • The bull mastif is # 1

  • I want one.

  • Rotties and Pinchers, you know the Germans always make nice stuff.

  • what is the number 1 guard dog then????

  • The doberman my friend has is so cute, instead of running he prances around, haha! Its also really friendly.

It really is all up to the owner to make any dog trained, and socialized with people and other dogs.

  • BTW, the 'scissors bite' refers to the way the incissors overlap, rather than a f'level bite' which means the tios of the incissors meet. (Don't know what that 'expert' was thinking!!!) All dogs, like all humans, are individuals. My child learned to walk by clutching the fur on the topline of one of our Dobes -a retired guard/attack dog we rescued. He adored her & was devoted to her. All ours have been loyal, obedient, active but avoided crashing into us or the furniture.

  • Yes because a random guy magically knew how to breed dogs and did it in a short time.

  • My grandpa had a doberman named Babe. She was the best dog ever. She was so sweet and playful and smart. A couple months ago my grandpa had to put Babe down because she got diabetes and he couldn't afford the medication and Babe was in so much pain. Rest in peace Babe! I love you and I miss you!!!

  • So you mean they are no longer Satan's favorite dog?

  • My cousin has 2, a red coat and a black coat, and they are the SWEETEST DOGS EVER!!!!!

  • @awilunga they ARE:)

  • I love those dogs! i want one but everybody but my dad says no. :)

  • its funny the guy in the back at 2:02 theres a boston terrier

  • Chad dressen is full of it,He is more concerned with tryting to be a celebrity than telling the truth.I have a male dobe and chihuas. The dobe would have killed my chihuahua if I would not have pulled him off.DObes don't mix well with chihuahuas .I could make a short video and get it to appear like they get along like buddies too,but little more footage you'd see the dobe wanting to eat the chihuahua.dobermans are cool, but I would not have them around small kids or other small pets of any kind

  • @rlta04 really? I don't know who to believe anymore because all these videos portray these dogs as fun loving good family pets but then you say otherwise. I'm confused, are they not the ideal dog to have in a home then? I would really appreciate an honest answer please don't hold back I want to know as I'm seriously thinking of getting one. thank you

  • @DunhillX1 If it is just you and all adults ,no kids or other pets of any type and you have a larger yard for it to run in daily you may be ok.be ready for a handful .My wife and I have had dogs and been around dogs our entire life.Had German Shepherds before the Dobe.My wife cannot stand the doberman .It almost killed her chihuahua

  • @rlta04 dobermans are amazing pets from the start. Even more so when you socialize them, and train them right. They need to be in the right hands. From the start dobermans need to be socialized with kids, adults, dogs, and small animals.Maybe thats a part u skipped.

Dont portray a doberman to be vicious when they are not. If ur doberman is hated by ur wife and almost killed her chihuahua. Blame it on bad training,ur bad training. Not the dobes, fault.

  • @dobeluv96

I actually agree with SOME of what you wrote. They do need to be trained and socialized. All dogs do.Mine was and is.Don't assume you know what I did or did not do.You have no clue.I get upset when I see people mislead others as to what a dog is going to be like only to see someone go out and get that type of dog because of it and serious issues result.Dobermans are not good around other dogs often. Its a fact.Look around the web and you will find this written many places.Don't B.S. !

  • @rlta04 I understand what ur saying I agree that dobermans are naturally protective and some may not do well with kidsI would never leave my doberman around kids alone bcuz of all their power, and ability to knock them right over I see alot of people get big powerful dogs like dobes, or rotties bcuz it makes them feel cool, not knowing the responsibilty. U have to know u can handle it and have strict rules with this kind of dog. When you have achieved that, they r the best!! love dobes

  • @DunhillX1

I could manage to get mine to cuddle with a chihuahua or long enough to make a video like that chad dude does too,but the stuff it you wouldn't see that is not filmed whould make you nervous

  • Also they have been used as junk yard dogs.

  • @Loveless19891 Boy do I love Buster! (Lady and the Tramp 2)

  • what channel is this

  • @Xbox360GaM3R2001 Dogs 101 program animal planet

  • Must have one to be my medical school companion. Lol I will him Rhys. But I can't decide between a Doberman or a Boston Terrier (had one growing up and she was THE. BEST.). :-P

  • i have one and so cute

  • I wanna adopt one cause my Golden Retriever is getting pretty lonely :>

  • i love this dog

  • My uncle once had a doberman when he was still in highschool. The doberman was a real good family dog, (it's a she) she was very smart, also liked to look at herself in the mirror. But when she was pregnant with puppies, certain classmates of his who were jealous, they wanted doberman puppies and they stole the dog not long before she was going to give birth. The doberman in captivity refused to eat, and when they brought her back, she was already too weak to eat and died in his lap.

  • @lhtony so sad :'(

  • @lhtony Bullshit lol dogs dont fucking starve themselves

  • @lhtony That's when you get your friends and able family members, and go put a little street justice on the perpetrators.

  • i have a minture and she is the best dog ever

  • They said 2nd best guard dog out ranking German Shepard and Rottweiler. What is the best one then? o.0

  • I grew up with a Doberman and a German Shepherd, and now I have a Pug.

    Hahahaha. :)

Now I want another dog to pal around with my Pug, and I'm having a hard time choosing. :(

  • I LOVEEEEEEEEEE MINE!!!! They are really very sweet dogs!

  • they got a bad rep because they were made to kill u

  • i WANTTTTTTTTT ONEE!!!!! :(

  • Pinschers are boss I love those things

  • It´s Dobermann!

  • Dobermans are the best

  • @arabianhorses4life13 until you get a Kelpie mixed with DOberman:)))

  • I LOVE Doberman Pinscher and Pugs

  • I've grown up with Dobb's and love them, best dogs in my opinion as they are incredibly smart, loyal and funny! They have a hell of a personality.

  • BOOOOO

  • @RAVENakaR

Thumbs up if there's no such thing as either.

  • @RAVENakaR i agree, i'm cuban-american and Pitbulls, Dobermans, All bulldogs, and German Shepards are my favorite dogs MOSTLY because i hate the stereotypes.

  • @RAVENakaR americans really know how to mess things up...these dogs were meant to be aggresive and thats what louis dobermann wanted. If you want a docile dog, get a poodle...why would you breed out the aggression. It like you want a ferrari, but replace the ferrari engine with a hyundai engine. dumb americans

  • I work at a kennel, and all the Doberman's we've ever had have been incredibly sweet.

  • A friend of mine owed a pincher. It bought it for 600 Euros and it was just 2 weeks old. But after a couple of months it got way too aggressive. Men, it was like the devil went inside it. So, she (my friend) gave it away.

I know, the video above says that doberman are not aggressive anymore, but after watching my friend's one I would hardly change my mind.

  • i hate it how they clip a dogs tail

  • Dobbies!

  • actually doberman pinschers recently are starting to be more calmer in the US than is Europe

  • actually doberman pinschers are more calmer in the US than is Europe

  • That woman looked like Blake Lively...

  • my brother got a 8 week old doberman, not even suppose to get them away from their mothers at that age, but my brother couldnt take care of it after 2 days cuz hes lazy and i have school and my mom has to work, so we had to sell it to one of my moms friends, loved that puppy, it was so playful

  • i wonder if the person who dislikes this video always feels lonely when he looks at the like bar

  • @RAVENakaR my boy is a european (well me being in the uk he would be lol) but hes a stunning pup and healthy as you like too but cost me alot to buy but i do love this video as it changes peoples view of these "killer dogs" my drake is such a softy if you look at doberman playtime in my vids you can see him as a baby playing in tall grass :)

  • @RAVENakaR they're the same i live in a flat next to a flat with a doberman in it and they just crop the ears in america so they're the same thing

  • @RAVENakaR they're the same

  • This is like my rabbit :3 Aggressive sometimes, feared, but loyal and athletic. ^__^

  • I'd like insight on a doberman owner please (: Are they loyal like:

A)To only one person, they follow that one person everywhere and protect them

B)Loyal to only that family, not one person in specific but the whole family is theirs

    or

C)They aren't super loyal, they just go from people to people

I'm hoping it's A as I'd really like a dog like that, let me know! Thanks ~

  • @HMKat143 Also, will they stay by your side (if trained) easily and come when they're called if they're off leash?

  • i get chills when he says doberman (^.^)

  • I love Dobermans I wish i had one

  • Make sure you get a "warlock" doberman- 5 weeks of age if possible-

  • Make sure you get a "warlock" doberman-

  • @kingster2929 thanks im planing on getting one within these year when would be the best time to get a dobe ???

  • do these dog go crazy after 3 ???

  • @JattPunjabDa96 Absolutley not. Why on earth would you think that. I have had 2 red dobi's in my life. I have an 11 year old red dobi now and he is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. BUT will protect his pack. They are one of the best dogs for a family. I also have a 2 year old shepherd but he is my partner wish I could have gotten a dobi.

  • i need one

  • @RAVENakaR What's the difference?

  • best breed in the world; loveable, loyal, beautiful, and just great all around fun.

  • People won't enter a yard with a doberman?

Fellas, I woudn't enter a yard with ANY big dog!

  • Tags: "aggressive dangerous big dog"..?

  • miss my doberman"britney"

  • Dobermans rock

  • Our "red" Doberman is as sweet as the Beagle we had during my childhood years. The Doberman is arguably the most misuderstood of all breeds. One overlooked aspect concerning the Doberman's prowess as a guard/watchdog is that sneaking up on them is all but impossible.

  • hahahah the chihuahua at 3:16

  • I remember I ahd relatives who lived next door with a Doberman owner, and that Doberman was such a sweetheart. She was cute. I also didn't know people cropped their ears, too. I thought they were born that way. Then again, I never seen one with long tail and floppy ears yet that's why.

  • @artistcjalos doberman is a ficious guard dog

  • @zafeamoon Um, ficious?

  • @artistcjalos vicious u know what i meant u grammer nazi

  • @zafeamoon Yay! You spelled it right! Yeah, Doberman's have been used to be guard dogs and so fourth. However, the ones I have encountered so far were friendly to people. Not all of them are "ficious" guard dogs.

  • @artistcjalos doberman are suppose to be good guard dog and show alot of agreesion they spoil the breed by breeding it down i might start breeding them and bring back the old standard

  • @zafeamoon If you want to breed them to be guard dogs, be my guess. There is also nothing wrong with people keeping them to be friendly house pets. Yeah, someone bred them for the guarding, but it doesn't mean they're only meant for being guard dogs. Not all of them have to be.

  • @artistcjalos thats i found their meant to be

  • @zafeamoon you can always not socilize them and train them to be a garud dog.Not all breeds that were meant to be gaurd dogs HAVE to be gaurd dogs.

  • @powerwolf901 doberman one of the best when their good their good but when their bad their bad some cant guard up to scratchs the good wants are superv guard dogs it natural need a good speciement tho

  • @zafeamoon well yeah i guess so.

  • why do some of them walk sideways

  • ok im going to ask a question before i watch this vid.... why cut the ears and tail?

  • @son8god8damn because they look much better prevent tail being garb when a attack a human being if that for gaurd work poilic work or army work add to their intimidation if a doberman is gaurd a ware house or any place that just an example if u see it looking proper it looks really intimdating with the ears up tail dock and teeth show the the doberman is nice dog but without it ear cropped and tail dock it look simple and funny look every seen a doberman with a curl tail look dodge like mongrel

  • mix them with rott weilers and most of the genetic problems go away. mutts are healthier and usually live longer

  • @endauthority the pure breed is profection

  • @zafeamoon disease and incest. Nothing good about that at all.

  • @zafeamoon Give me a break. Everybody knows that mutts are healthier and live longer.

  • @HamsterPants522 looool pure breeds are better in my opinion

  • @zafeamoon Okay well they can be better in your opinion. Just so long as you acknowledge that it's subjective.

  • @zafeamoon Technically dobermans are not pure breed. They are a mix of many different breeds resulting in the doberman pinscher breed. Mutts are no different. Only difference is that the mutts do not have a recognizable breed name.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX yeah but thwy used to best create perfect spicement how is a dodhe cross going to compare only good cross in my opion is a two way cross or register breed

  • @zafeamoon Incorrect. Although your post was very hard to understand. The specimen (canine) doesn't change if you mix bloodlines. Mixing bloodlines to achieve what you want is NOT creating a pure breed. A wolf is a pure breed.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX yeah but their a standard and dogs most likely goner meet a specific grade were a mongrel well who know what they will be like

  • @zafeamoon Not gonna bother trying to read what the hell you just said.

  • wow 1 person dislikes them? they are so cute i have 1 that is named jada =D

  • hey i love dobermans my parents have both had their share of them and i think its time for one of my own i want a good dobie with a good bloodline like no heretitary diseases and such but i cant seem to find a breeder i think i could trust for th right amount im only 15 and i have to buy the dog myself so it cant be too coastly, and i live in michigan so i need to be able to get it here do u have any sugestions

  • @KRST1996 well u should not be to fuss my dad had five dobie nuthing wrong with then u should be more wored about if the ears is cropped and is the tail dock if their guard dogs it would be nice if u had two to keep eachover company make sure its proper and tall and skiny

  • How much a doberman costs in west coast?

  • snoop dogg turns into a red dobbie in the video (Who am I?)

  • HEY! Its the dog from UP! :)

  • Amazing dog, I am glad they're breaking these stereotypes. My neighbor had one and it was the sweetest thing ever.

  • I love dobermans pits and rotties!!! Im thinkin of gettin one!!

  • dobermans are so adorable and so cute i love them along with rottwilers pitbulls and german shepperds

  • I hate seeing Doberman Pinschers with cropped ears. My Doberman Pinscher, Hadesz, has natural ears. He looks so much better that way! He is a big German import, too. Performing medically unnecessary procedures that simply perpetuate the image of dogs as fashion accessories is outrageous.

  • my friend has one. it is huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but, it has to be one of the nicest dogs ever

  • Our red male Doberman is a wonderful, sweet-natured companion. His sense of hearing is remarkably good. He's also a sloppy drinker at the water dish! He's a real "velcro" dog.

  • rottys are not stupid u muppet

  • dobie..are cute..but so furious...

  • good, but not as good as a rotweiller

  • @suriyaprakaash2511 rottweiler are stupid dogs.they are only powerful but not as agile as doberman. Also rottweiler lacks stamina

  • @suriyaprakaash2511 rotties are good looking and intimidating and all, but from what ive seen, the dobie is more loyal and devoted by far.
