the entire level is solid? Then how come all the other levels arent solid. Weird. Maybe they made it all solid so the fans could find a way to the impossible tower.

I think it is solid because of a whirlwind that would take you to the island with the three lives, which would also give access to the whole level from above. Then they removed the whirlwind, but didn't change the level model.

i wonder why they made all of midnight mountain solid. there are lots of places ordinary gamers wouldn't be able to reach, so why not make those "soft"?

well, then again, maybe they wanted to make SURE that you completed the rest of the game to get into the SBR.

I had fun with the proxy jump for a long time, and managed to land on one of the mountains.
