@PrinZenkeks its a pretty easy transition, i play bolth bass and cello they are fairly similar.

@PrinZenkeks I play both cello and bass, but cello is definitely a lot harder than bass. I learnt cello first and then transferred over to bass, however I am not sure it would work the other way round. Cello requires exact finger positioning and a lot more well practiced technique. If you wanted to start cello, I would recommend getting some lessons so you don't get into bad habits... =]

@Goth0teddy private lessons, hours of practice a day, watch many videos of professionals and pupil players (young student players) and compare them (NOT WHO'S BETTER) but look at what they do and how they do it. Memorize scales, that helps when you're playing in a said 'difficult' key....pretty, studying and practicing is how you get good...when you're bored with the traditional stuff, play along with the radio or a song you like like he did

I timed your playing to the actual song, and you were right on! I'm not a huge cello fan...I love a good guitar, but what you do is just PERFECT! Fu** what other ppl say. Learn the note positions on your instrument, and train your ear! It's all a part of learning a musical instrument. Great player you're gonna be if you have to be told where exactly to put your fingers...

People may say "nahh, I don't want to be into all that music stuff". BUT YOU'RE LEARNING A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT!
