Io wn the game. What i like to do is repair and capture the first three tanks in the level to help bulk up the Chaffee's defences, seeing as it is in fact a light tank and one HE shell can easily destroy it. I learned that the hard way.

Well the medic packs you saw (the orange ones) can revive a soldier from the dead (as long its not crushed by a tank to pieces or blown up by an anti tank or bazooka)

Yes, you only get them in multiplayer. I recorded the game in multiplayer: some of the soldiers you start with get 2-3 of those to revive fallen soldiers.

Reasonable benefit I think, considering you can't save/load in multiplayer. This game can be quite brutal - one wrong move and you're toast :) And yes, sometimes your soldiers end up in under rubble and you can't get to them...

Ah, i remember this game, i bought if for like 3years ago but it didnt work on my computer, i should maybe dust of this game and try to install it on my newer computer, just one quetion, dose the the "Starforce" protection program f**k up the computer, or start to start conflicts with other protection programs? (when i installed Rush for Berlin so did it start a lot of conflicts.)

Anyway thanks if you can give me an answer. :)

Great video btw, i enjoyed to see you play, and this game seems very good for its time, compare to tittles like Codename Panzers, and Blitzkrieg. (love those classics, but this seems to be a better balance with infantry and armor, and the infantry isn't just canon fodder like in the Blitzkrieg games, and got more realistic Hp then in Codename Panzers.)

I remember the infantry in Blitzkrieg.. poor guys :S In Soldiers infantry can be powerful, especially in rugged/urban terrain + AT grenades!

If you want to give this game another go, you can use the no-cd crack to skip the Starforce stuff. There's even a utility on the Starforce website that removes the SF driver entirely. Run that, copy the crack and you should be fine. Hope you have fun.

Thanks. I'll probably upload some more Soldiers video in the future. Actually, I've tried Faces of War, but my PC wasn't up to the task. Perhaps I will try that again once I get a new computer :)
