  • Please inform me if I am wrong.

  • @ConstantinLion it's a well loved Algerian song by singer composer Dahmane el Harrachi. He wrote it in the 70's. it's part of the Algerian folklore. there's versions of it in Turkish, Greek, Israel, Serbia, India, Pakistan....

  • @TonSultan

You too are right my friend from Turkey.

The same words that I wrote to the other frined from Algeria goe for you too.

I'va made a mistake and I corrected it allready.

    Greetings to you too :-)

  • Why do I still believe that is a Serbian song in an Arab version?

The whole rhythm is quite Balcan, and especially in the Sebian version.

    Am I so wrong?

  • @ConstantinLion u right ,dont forget we share Mediterranean sea , Algeria and the great Yugoslavia have something together that ottmanian empire from turkia was in Algeria and in Balkan in middle age , so we have same kind of music bcz i heard Albanian music and from traditional Yugoslavian music they sound lil bit like algerian music....cherrs from algeria

  • @shaker31

    You're absolutely wright my friend.

This a song from the algerian school of music known as RAI.

Very well known great singers of this school of music are, apart of Rachid Taha,

Chab Khaled, Faudel, Cheb Mamie, and many many others.

I listen very often their music.

It seems that they have a big succes in France and this is very justifiable.

And yes this mediterranean sea unifies all of us the mediterranean people.

Greetings and friendship from Greece :-)

  • @ConstantinLion U think this is Chaabi not Rai

  • @dadieng1 I not U srry abt that mistake.

  • @ConstantinLion

No it's from the Algerian Musical genre called Cha'abi not RAI!! Rachid Taha is Not the original singer of this song!! it's the respectable legend Dahmane Elharrachi (May God have mercy on his soul).. the original song as well as the singer are far more popular than this version (: .. This is a cover..

    (:

  • @ConstantinLion the origin version is by dhamane arrachi..this kind of music is called algerian chaabi..rai is different..

    enjoy
