With the mentality I have, always sounds like perfect dancing music. Some enterprising choreographer should have it orcestrated, you can't have them dancing to the piano playing like this, it is too cheesy. It is a toccata in 7 time, and they could dance to it, counting 3-4, 3-4... Ravel was present at rehearsals of his Daphnis for the Danse Generale, and made them count 2-3, 2-3. The next prime number is 11. How about it?
BTW, I wonder what the dramatic effect must have been live, when Argerich goes from the second movement to such a breakneck rendition of the third. I mean, it has to have been something like starting at a retirement settlement, and being flushed down a volcano. I doubt many in the audience have been able to sleep after such a shock treatment.
I simply love the zeal and jest that Martha has. As a techno freak I live the piece overall, but Argerich takes it to a new level in the sense that she breaks the barrier between percussive and tonal. Between timbre and note. That's precisely what makes the best techno so interesting to me, and what *ought* to discern mechanical music from the acoustical.
Yet, in Martha's virtuosic hands, suddenly stuff that could only come from machines comes to life. Simply love it.
TOTA PULCHRA ES MARTHA!!!

Brilliant, as usual!
And this is not even Martha's fastest rendition of this movement.
